FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a flexible surgical stapler showing my new design, an intermediate portion of the flexible connecting cable being broken away and omitted for convenience of illustration;

FIG. 2 is a right side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a left side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a rear end elevational view thereof, as taken along lines 5--5 of FIG. 1;

FIG. 6 is a front end elevational view thereof, as taken along lines 6--6 of FIG. 1;

FIG. 7 is another rear end elevational view thereof in partial cross-section, taken along lines 7--7 of FIG. 1; and

FIG. 8 is another front end elevational view taken along lines 8--8 of FIG. 1.
