Guide for centering a boat being drawn onto a boat trailer

Description

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a guide for centering a boat being drawn onto a boat trailer, showing my new design, and illustrating the length-adjustable pivoted arm at approximately mid-length position;

FIG. 2 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a rear elevational view thereof, showing the pivoted arm and roller in inclined attitude resulting from engagement with the hull of a boat being loaded onto a boat trailer on which is mounted a spaced pair of the guides arranged in mirror symmetry on opposite sides of the trailer;

FIG. 5 is an elevational view of the outer side thereof;

FIG. 6 is a view similar to that of FIG. 4 but showing the pivoted arm and roller in the spring-urged vertical attitude assumed by the guide when it is not deflected by a boat hull, the opposite, or front, side being a mirror image thereof; and,

FIG. 7 is an elevational view of the inner side thereof.

The broken line in FIG. 4 represents the fragmentary outline of boat hull in engagement with the guide and forms no part of the present design.
