FIG. 2 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a front elevational view thereof; and

FIG. 4 is a left side elevational view thereof.

An electronic article surveillance system is a system for detecting the presence of articles, such as merchandise, to which electronic security tags have been attached. Such systems are used, for example, for shoplifting prevention.
