FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a base for a computer, computer terminal or similar article showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 3 is a right side elevational view thereof on an enlarged scale, the opposite side being a mirror image of the side shown;

FIG. 4 is a rear perspective view thereof on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 5 is a top view plan thereof on an enlarged scale; and

FIG. 6 is a bottom view plan thereof on an enlarged scale.
