FIG. 12 is an enlarged, cross-sectional view taken in the direction of arrows 8--8 in FIG. 2.

The characteristic features of our new design reside in the apperarance and configuration of the unperforated profiled headrail front surface without the need for a valence; the end caps having relatively thin edges mounted flush with the headrail front profiled surface and not overlapping the end of the rails; a cushioned bottom rail; and wherein each of the end caps and the bottom rail cushion have a surface texture contrasting to the surface texture of the blind slats, the headrail and the bottom rail.
