Description

FIG. 1 is a plan view from one side of sundial type a timepiece in accordance with a first embodiment of the present design and illustrating three concentric rings thereof in coplanar, nested alignment;

FIG. 2 is a similar view thereof from the opposite side;

FIG. 3 is a view thereof taken from the left of FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is a view thereof taken from the bottom of FIG. 1;

FIG. 5 is a view thereof taken from the top FIG. 1;

FIG. 6 is a view thereof taken from the right of FIG. 1;

FIG. 7 is a perspective view thereof illustrating the three concentric rings in one possible non-planar relative orientation;

FIG. 8 is a sectional view taken along line 8--8 of FIG. 1; and,

FIGS. 9-12 are views similar to FIG. 2 of second to fifth embodiments of the present design, but showing a different planar relative orientation of the center ring and also showing different opening configurations that can replace the two openings shown in the embodiment of FIGS. 1-8, the views from each of the sides of each of FIGS. 9-12 being otherwise consistent with the various views shown in FIGS. 1-7.
