FIG. 1 is an isometric view from the upper right rear of a portion of a latch release operating lever for a hand tool including my new design, wherein the broken line depiction of a handle for a multipurpose hand tool is included for illustrative purposes and forms no part of the claimed design;

FIG. 2 is an isometric view from the upper right rear of a portion of a latch release operating lever for a hand tool, showing my new design, of which a lessor portion is shown in FIG. 1, and wherein the broken line depiction of the remainder of the latch release operating lever is included for illustrative purposes and forms no part of the claimed design;

FIG. 3 is a right side elevational view of the portion of a latch release operating lever for a hand tool shown in FIG. 2;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a rear end elevational view thereof;
