Description

FIG. 1 is a fragmentary front elevational view of a portion of a silent chain, showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 3 is right side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a fragmentary front elevational view showing a portion of a silent chain, consisting of plural, repeated links, in accordance with our new design;

FIG. 6 is a right-side elevational view of the chain portion shown in FIG. 5;

FIG. 7 is a fragmentary elevational view showing a sprocket having thereon a portion of a silent chain in accordance with our new design, the sprocket being illustrated by broken lines as environmental structure; and,

FIG. 8 is a sectional view of the chain, guide plates and sprocket, taken on plane 8—8 in FIG. 7.

The left side elevational view of the guide plate is a mirror image of the right side elevational view, and the rear elevational view of the guide plate is a mirror image of the front elevational view. The broken line showing of the sprocket is for illustrative purpose only and forms no part of the claimed design. The broken line in FIG. 5 and the corresponding broken lines in FIG. 7 indicate that the chain, which consists of repeated identical units, can be of any desired length.

The ornamental design for a silent chain, as shown and described.
