The pendant is shown with an ornamental raised Arabic phrase translating in English to “This, too, will pass” or alternatively to “This, too, shall pass.” The nature and use of the pendant is that of a decorative adornment that can be secured to an object, such as suspending the pendant from a necklace, bracelet, anklet, earring, key ring, zipper pull, brooch, tie pin, or a nail or hook on a wall or ceiling or door.
