Description

Exemplary applications of such high surface area ash removal screen are further described in co-pending and commonly-assigned U.S. patent application Ser. No. 13/633,717 entitled “Apparatus and Methods for Large Particle Ash Separation From Flue Gas Using Screens Having Semi-Elliptical Cylinder Surfaces,” filed Oct. 2, 2012, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.

FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a high surface area ash removal screen showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear elevation view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a top plan view thereof; and,

FIG. 7 is a bottom plan view thereof.

FIGS. 1-7 show a high surface area ash removal screen that comprises four semi-elliptical cylinder surfaces having hexagonal holes perforating the surfaces. In FIGS. 1-7, the semi-elliptical cylinder surfaces are joined by structural support members.

The ornamental design for a high surface area ash removal screen, as shown and described.
