The broken lines in the drawings depict portions of the hand operated laboratory instrument that form no part of the claimed design.

The hand operated laboratory instrument or hand operated laboratory tool is used to take up a volume of fluid from a container, and, afterwards, to dispense it into another container or into multiple other containers. In particular, it serves for the repeated dispensing, titrating or pipetting of liquids.
