The parts shown by means of broken lines in the reproductions are not part of the claimed design; surveying target; the surveying target has a central part divided by a plurality of squares, the squares are painted in white or black to form a specific identification pattern and the surveying target is installed in the building to be surveyed; in a surveying system using the identification pattern of the surveying target, surveyor takes an image with an image capturing device such as a surveying instrument, a mobile terminal, a tablet, and an AR (augmented reality) compatible eyeglass device, the surveying system identifies the identification pattern, calls surveying information associated with the identification pattern and displays on the image capturing device; the surveying information includes 3D coordinate value of installation position of the building in which the surveying target is installed as a set value; the surveying information includes information related to the building such as a site name, a street name, a section, and a management value in addition to the set value; when measuring a distance from the image capturing device to the surveying target, surveyor adjusts a center position of a crosshairs of photographed image in the image capturing device to a center position of an identification pattern of the surveying target, ranges, thereby, the surveying system acquires a 3D coordinate value of the center position of surveying target as a measurement value, associates the measurement value with surveying information and calculates a difference between the set value and the measurement value as accuracy; when using the image capturing device to call up the surveying information associated with the identification pattern of surveying target, the surveyor displays the surveying information corresponding to the identification pattern of the surveying target in the captured image.
