    Abstract: An animal trap with rotative tangential doors comprises a main body (1) of open tubing pivoted with rotative tangential doors (2) which are positioned at each of said main body's two openings. Each door is controlled by a latch (4) located at the top of the tubing. At the middle of the body a trigger (3) is suspended by a clamp which is made by hooking both latches with a spring (6). When an animal steps on the lower rim of the trigger, its weight will cause the trigger to drop, thus causing movement of both latches and the simultaneous closing of both doors. The trap is provided with a pair of instant door locks (5) which would prevent the reverse rotation of each of the doors.

The tolerance is determined for acceptable unbalance values. The balancing operation is terminated on the basis of the minimum and maximum which is multiplied by a multiplier determined as a function of allowable variations of the measured unbalance signal.

A separator chamber is disclosed that is designed with annular slots for the purpose of cleaning gas contaminated with solid residue from combustion. The gases produced in the combustion chamber enter the separator chamber through tangentially arranged gas ducts. After flowing through the annular formed separator chamber, the gases flow around the frontal area of the central axially arranged center block before they reach the guidance components, which are sensitive to soiling. Subsequently, the hot gases exit by way of a jet. Through the effect of centrifugal forces, the contaminating particles are slung against the outer wall of the annularly slotted separator chamber and are held fast in its special profile.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling the intake manifold air pressure during compression release engine retarding of a turbocharged internal combustion engine are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a solenoid actuated pressure responsive means communicating with the intake manifold and electrically connected to the control circuit for the compression release retarder. In one form of the invention, intake manifold air pressure is controlled so as not to exceed a predetermined maximum pressure during compression release retarding while in another form of the invention the intake manifold air pressure may be adjusted by the operator to any level up to a predetermined maximum level. By controlling the intake manifold air pressure the magnitude of the retarding horsepower developed by the engine and the loads imposed on certain of the engine components may be controlled.

When the heat pump system operates in the cooling mode, each zone heat exchanger functions as an evaporator with the invention operating as an expansion valve, regulating the refrigerant flow entering the heat exchanger to meet the temperature conditioning demand.
