These laterals grew in a strongly ascending manner producing semi-lustrous dark green foilage, turning yellow in the fall, and tree crown with a ratio of 15 to 20% of the height in width, much narrower than asexual progeny of Summit ash of the same age and size.

    Abstract: The detection and warning of microbursts, low level wind shear, and other weather disturbances, which are hazardous to aircraft operations and to the public at large, are accomplished with either an airport surveillance radar (ASR) or a multi-beam Doppler radar. ASR Doppler systems normally operate to receive one of two relatively large vertical fan beams having different elevation angles but which overlap one another so that they have equal gains at an elevation angle, called the null, at a relatively low angle, for example 5.degree.. Below this null, the low beam antenna gain exceeds that of the high beam, and conversely above it. Accordingly, by subtracting the high beam Doppler spectrum from that on the low beam, a Difference Doppler Spectrum (DDS) is produced which is positive below the null and negative above. The velocity bounds of the positive portion of the DDS provide the wind speed components at the null and at heights near the surface.

The closure structure can include a slit extending upwardly from the lower extremity and defining first and second sides of the leg portions on respective sides of the slit. Structure is provided for fastening one of the sides of each leg portion to the other. The fastening structure is preferably cooperating hook and pile surfaces, one on each side of the leg portions. The closure structure of the invention is also useful on other types of garments. Padding is provided in the rump area to protect the buttocks against scrapping and bruising. The padding preferably extends a distance into the leg portions where it is influenced by the closure structure so as to retain the flexible padding in a protective position protecting the buttocks and thighs of the wearer even during strenuous sports activity, particularly sliding into bases.

In the preferred embodiment, the shoulder pads are made of foam, lined with cotton and covered with lace. To facilitate the wearer's placement of the harness without having to search for a right or left side, the harness includes a pair of tabs sewn adjacent the first and second ends of the adjustable chest strap.

An exit pipe extends upwardly from the tank through the basket and through the roof of the building. A plurality of apertures in the exit pipe allow the gas within the tank and basket to escape. An exhaust fan is provided to pull the air downwardly through the inlet pipes and the gas outwardly through the exhaust pipe. The inlet pipes have mouths oriented to catch the wind assisting the flow of air.
