  • Patent number: RE33371
Abstract: A dental material and method for forming, reinforcing or repairing a dental restoration comprising a combination of a high fusing temperature metal component in a major proportion and a low fusing temperature component in a minor proportion. A binder may be added to form a putty-like consistency. The dental material is molded into a predetermined shape and heat treated at a temperature which will substantially melt the low fusing metal components but below the melting temperature of the high fusing metal component for forming a porous, sponge-like mass of interconnected particles of the high fusing temperature metal component. A filler material having a low melting temperature is then added to the porous mass and the mass is again treated to form a solid mass.

  • Patent number: RE33379
Abstract: A microprocessor based motor controller which provides open loop speed control at low conduction angles, closed loop speed control at high conduction angles, and a smooth transition between open loop and closed loop zones. In open loop, the motor speed is selected and is permitted to vary with applied load. In closed loop, the motor speed is held constant, substantially irrespective of load. In the transition zone, the motor is operated in a hybrid open loop, closed loop fashion.Anti-kickback protection is also provided based on a percentage change in the motor's rotational period.

  • Patent number: RE33380
Abstract: A full duplex, synchronous data set (10) includes primary signal processing circuitry which generates a modulated transmit data signal in response to serial data from a terminal interface (17). The modulated data signal is transmitted over a primary channel of a transmit line (11). The primary signal processing circuitry also receives modulated data signals from a primary channel of a receive line (12) and recovers therefrom a serial bit stream for presentation to the interface. The operating parameters of the primary signal processing circuitry are specified by a primary controller (30) over a plurality of buses (PA, PC, PD). The primary controller includes a microprocessor (310) and associated peripherals (315, 320, 325, 330, 335). The data set also includes secondary signal processing circuitry (40) which transmits and receives diagnostic and control information over respective secondary channels of the transmit line and receive lines.

  • Patent number: RE33381
Abstract: A stereo receiver is described which is capable of receiving any two or more of the five currently proposed AM stereo system broadcast signals. The multisystem receiver includes circuitry which is used in various configuration to demodulate the stereo signal components from broadcast signals of any one of two or more of the proposed systems. Selection of appropriate elements of the receiver's circuitry for demodulating any one of the received signals is performed automatically in response to the detection of the presence of a corresponding pilot signal which is unique for each of the five different AM stereo systems that have been proposed. The receiver includes apparatus which detects the presence of such pilot signals and controls the automatic switching of such receiver circuitry. Also described is the application of such apparatus for reliably detecting the presence of the desired pilot signal in a single system stereo receiver.

  • Patent number: 4961232
Abstract: An underhood includes a helmet portion and a mask portion. The helmet portion consists of a loosely fitted bonnet which is attached to an elastic lower section. The elastic fabric (two-way stretch) substantially surrounds the bottom of the headdress in the manner of a headband, but is open below that location. A face mask secures the lower section around the user's face. The face mask is made of highly breathable fabric and relies on the elasticity of the stretch fabric in the lower part of the helmet portion for elastic fit around the user's face. Therefore, the face mask is relatively inelastic, while permitting elastic fit around the face.
