Abstract: Outerwear is provided. The outerwear includes an outer shell having a neckline, a left armhole, a right armhole, a bottom edge, and being constructed so as to fit over a human chest. The outerwear includes a plurality of utility pockets for storing accessories and being attached to the outer shell. At least one of the utility pockets includes a pocket back side and a pocket front side, and the pocket back side and the outer shell form a retractor receiving area having an opening for accessing the retractor receiving area. A retractor is attached to the outerwear and is provided within the retractor receiving area. The outerwear can include left and right sleeves including breathable cuffs. A method for manufacturing outerwear is provided according to the invention.

Abstract: A garment includes a jacket portion and a bag portion. The jacket portion having a back side which includes an outer shell and an inner shell. A pocket is defined between a portion of the outer shell and the inner shell. The inner shell defines an orifice which provides access to the pocket. A fastener associated with the orifice is configured for selectively opening and closing the orifice. The bag portion is integral with the jacket portion, and is disposed within the pocket. The bag portion has flexible sides which define a bag opening. A fastener is associated with the bag opening and is configured for selectively providing access to an interior of the bag portion. The bag portion has a volume sufficient to store at least the jacket portion. The bag portion is configured to be removed from the pocket and turned inside out. The bag portion receives the jacket portion therein, thereby forming a duffel bag.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a roadside emergency vest that is convertible to a storage case. The roadside emergency vest also referred to as a passenger assistance roadside kit (PARK™) is a multifunctional safety product. The invention is a carrying case for storage of automobile emergency equipment supplies which converts into a highly visible safety vest. The breast panels and upper back panels of the vest may be conveniently stored in a storage compartment located on the inside of the back panel of the emergency vest. This invention is especially designed to help reduce the dangers involved with roadside emergencies.

Abstract: A shirt cuff comprises a band of material having first and second opposing edges and first and second opposing ends. The first edge is attached to the sleeve of the shirt. A decorative fastener for the cuff connects the two ends of the band.

Abstract: An athletic glove comprises a back portion and a palm portion. A tape is stitched to the back portion. The tape extends from a little finger portion, a ring finger portion and a middle finger portion toward the base of a thumb portion, and can supply proper fastening force to the little finger, the ring finger and the middle finger of the user's hand when the user grasps an object.

Abstract: Arm coverings (12, 14, 22-27) are provided which include an elongated, tubular, fabric body (28, 52, 66, 84, 94) presenting upper arm-receiving openings (30, 54, 68, 86, 96) as well as lower sections (36, 64, 72, 90, 98) which envelop an area in proximity to a user's wrist. Each covering (12, 14, 22-27) includes words or other indicia on the tubular bodies (28, 52, 66, 84, 94). In some forms, the words or indicia is located on the undersides of the tubular bodies (28, 52, 66, 84, 94) and becomes visible when the user's arms (16,18) are raised. Some coverings include couplers (34, 56, 70, 82, 90) which serve to hold the arm coverings in position. The coverings (12, 14, 22-27) may be worn by sports enthusiasts or others wishing to express themselves at a sporting event or the like by raising their arms.

Abstract: A helmet with an air supply/exhaust hole serving as a hole to be shared by an air supply hole portion for an air supply path for introducing air outside an outer shell into a head protecting body, and an exhaust hole portion for an exhaust path for exhausting air in the head protecting body to an outside of the outer shell. According to this helmet, a predetermined region in the head protecting body can be ventilated well. The air supply hole portion for the air supply path and the exhaust hole portion for the exhaust path can be formed in the outer shell easily. An outer shell with a high strength can be obtained easily. Design limitations on the outer shell can be reduced.

Abstract: A leg protection system selectively covers a person's lower leg and knee for protection against environmental elements. The leg protection system comprises a first protective cover and a second protective cover which are selectively attachable to each other to define a single leg protection system. The first protective cover is adapted to cover the front and side portions of a wearer's knee. The first protective cover has a top portion and a bottom portion, whereby the top and bottom portions are formed of a flexible material for generally fitting the contour of the knee. The bottom portion has a first releasable strap assembly adapted to extend behind the wearer's leg to operatively attach the first protective cover over the knee. The second protective cover is adapted to cover the front and side portions of a wearer's lower leg. The second protective cover is formed of a flexible material for generally fitting the contour of the lower leg.

The diameter of the second end is larger than a toilet drain. A may be used for forcing air into the housing and is removably in communication with the first end of the housing. The second end of the housing is positioned over the toilet drain such that air is moved from the pump and into the housing causing water in the toilet to be forced into the drain and unclogging the drain.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a combination hydrotherapy swim pool structure including a plurality of side rods assembled with a plurality of transverse rods to form a swim pool support frame. An enclosure is mounted on the side rods and the transverse rods. Thus, the present invention forms a simple swim pool that can be assembled and dismantled easily and quickly. The enclosure is formed with multiple water inlet/outlet holes, and a water output control device has multiple connecting pipes each connected to the water inlet/outlet hole for ejecting water beams, thereby massaging the human body in a hydrotherapy manner. An air cushion is mounted on the periphery of the swim pool support frame, thereby keeping the water temperature of the hydrotherapy swim pool structure, and providing a comfortable sensation to the user, so as to achieve the hydrotherapy massaging effect with comfort and safety.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for sterilizing tubes and piping of a jetted tub or spa is disclosed. An ozone generator that operates by photodisassociation is connected to a tube connected to an air intake of the tub. A sensor detects when the tub is being filled, and initiates operation of the ozone generator, filling the tubing with ozone prior to water filling these tubes. Ozone may be provided to the water circulating through the tubes during operation in order to purify and sanitize the water. As the tub is being emptied, ozone continues to be provided to the tubes of the tub or spa as they empty, sterilizing these tubes in an empty state. In another embodiment, a timer may be connected to the ozone generator and sensor in order to operate the ozone generator for a selected period of time after the tub or spa is emptied. In yet another embodiment, aroma therapy may be combined with the ozone.

Abstract: A bed apparatus is pivotal from a horizontal position to a generally upright position and has a base frame with a mattress supporting platform hinged thereto for pivoting between a generally horizontal position and a generally upright position. A counterweight container has a generally flat side intersected along two edges by a generally arcuate side. The container has a sealable opening adjacent one intersecting edge of the intersecting arcuate and flat sides. The sealable opening is positioned above the fluid material in the container in both the horizontal and upright positions to thereby prevent leakage from the sealable opening and to allow filling the container from either position.

Abstract: A height and angle adjustable bed having a rolling base which utilizes a unique pivoting base having castors and a unique support arm assist spring mechanism. The pivoting castor base allows movement of the bed in any direction on the plane of the floor when also positioned at any user desired height while also providing a stable and lockable support for the bed. The support arm spring mechanism provides an initial assist force when the bed is in a nearly or fully lowered position and thereby minimizes the force required by the linear actuators used to raise the bed.

An interlocking mechanism includes a first plate extending from the first side wall, and a second plate extending from the second side wall. At least one of the first plates has a periphery with a notch formed therein. At least one of the second side walls has a post extending therefrom. Each handle is releasably engageable by alignment of at least one post of one of the handles with at least one notch of the other handle. The multi-function tool also includes an interchangeable implement including a pair of handles with implement engaging means. An axle assembly extends transversely through the openings formed in the first and second plates and includes a first end member, a second end member, a pair of buttons and a spring. The spring is disposed between each of the buttons to bias the buttons into engagement with the end members.

A second hollow shank is axially inserted into the second handle for connecting an extendable rod. Abstract: A dock leveler that is mounted in a recessed pit and having a deck as wide as necessary to provide access to the transport vehicle. A lip is mounted to the front of the deck of the leveler and pivoted in a conventional manner. At each side of the lip are narrower lip segments. The bumpers are supported with vertical plates so that the plates may fit in the gap between the lip and the lip segments. Thus the lip segments may be stored behind the bumpers and the effective width of the lip may be greater than the space between the bumpers. The lip segment has a back edge that abuts the front of the deck when extended, or may be of the “barrier lip” configuration where the rear of the lip is extended above the top of the deck to provide a run-off guard when the lip is pendent. The lip may also extend linearly. Each lip segment has a hydraulic cylinder and a control valve or may be manually selected.

The system includes a brush box, which has a fluid manifold and at least one nozzle. The nozzle is connected to the fluid manifold by a flexible conduit. The nozzle is configured to spray a liquid onto the surface of the wafer at an application angle and at a fan angle. The application angle is defined between a plane of the surface of the wafer and a spraying plane of the liquid. The fan angle and the application angle are configured such that the spraying liquid covers the surface of the wafer in a quiescent manner.

A first set of cleaning sheets is each removably supported on the lower surface in a stacked configuration. Each of the sheets includes a bibulous layer and a moisture barrier layer. The moisture barrier layer prevents transport of liquid from one bibulous layer of one sheet to the bibulous layer of an adjacent sheet. Each of the sheets has an outward face for cleaning and an opposed inward face. The outward face of the sheets is designed to contact and clean a surface and thereby become soiled. Once the outward face of the outermost sheet becomes soiled, the sheet may be peeled away to expose a non-soiled sheet.

On the contrary, by controlling the first window to remain close and the second window to remain open, the second opening removes dust in other areas via the extension tube.

A block is received in the cap and has sloping edges abutting on sloping surfaces of the bracket. A finger is formed on the block and extends out an opening of an inner tuber and an aperture of an outer tube. The sliding strip is connected with a first end of a linkage and a lever is connected with a second end of the linkage. By pressing a button to turn the lever, the sliding strip is pulled upwards and the block will move inwards along the sloping surface of the bracket to retract the finger from the aperture of the outer tube for the adjustment of the inner tube.

Abstract: A handle cover for fitting over a wire bail handle affixed to a carriable container which offers several advantages over prior designs. The handle is designed to fit over the wire bail, whether or not a hollow tubular sleeve through which the wire bail passes is present, and can interact with this sleeve when present. Such interaction not only allows the handle cover to be adaptable to various wire bail handles, but can also provide additional stabilization of the handle cover relative to the bail. The handle cover is formed from two body members, at least one of which has a channel formed therein for receiving the wire bail. This channel has two end portions and a central portion. The central portion is wider than the end portions, to receive a hollow tubular sleeve if present on the bail.

A viscidity is provided between the outer periphery of the spacer and the inner periphery of the recess of the mount, thereby forming a damper. Further, a locking pin is retained prior to the mounting of the grip body to the mount.

The tips form a multiple stage pattern across a direction of insertion into the attachment hole to be pressed to the insertion part. Also, coupling arms are provided outside the clamping plates. The coupling arms are coupled into the attachment hole by elasticity at a final position of insertion into the attachment hole after being elastically bent inward upon insertion of the insertion part of the object into the attachment hole.

A nonwoven with a basically clean hole structure on a drum with plastic elevations can be produced by energy-rich water jets. Depending on the thickness of the fibers used in the nonwoven, however, certain fibers can nevertheless be stretched transversely across a hole. In order to avoid or eliminate this, the perforated nonwoven is subjected to singeing flames after drying.

Abstract: The invention relates to the field of forming fibrous structures by needling processes. A process is provided for achieving a desired Z-fiber distribution in a fibrous structure by controlling transport depth during formation of the fibrous structure in a series of needling passes. Each needling pass generates a portion of Z-fiber bundles that penetrate adjacent fibrous layers, the Z-fiber bundles penetrating only those adjacent fibrous layers that need more Z-fiber bundles to attain a predetermined number of Z-fiber bundles within each fibrous layer.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming and finishing a continuous fabric web in a single operation. The apparatus includes a fabric web forming station for forming a continuous fabric web and a finishing station downstream from the fabric web forming station for receiving the continuous fabric web from the fabric web forming station and for providing a finishing treatment to the continuous fabric web. In the preferred embodiment, the finishing station includes a substantially excess-free applicator which helps to prevent thick spots in the coated fabric web which may occur when a coating applicator is stopped and restarted. In the preferred embodiment, the finishing station includes a curing station downstream from the applicator. The curing station may include both a drying station and a heat set station downstream from the drying station. The operating temperatures of the drying and heat set stations are controlled to minimize the amount of air having VOCs to be treated before being discharged into the atmosphere.

Abstract: An arrangement for exercising (or burnishing) the intake and exhaust valves in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine employs a plurality of out-of-phase eccentric cams coupled to a source of rotatory motion. The eccentric cams engage with respective linear drive arrangements that are urged into out-of-phase reciprocation with respect to each other. The linear drives urge the valves into repeated open and closed states where, in combination with valve rotators, burnishing of the sealing portion of the valves with the valves seats to improve the seal therebetween is effected. The use of eccentric cams to effect linear reciprocating motion achieves control over both directions of movement of the linear drive arrangements. The cylinder head is maintained in fixed relation to the linear drive arrangements by a hydraulic, pneumatic, or other form of ram, the ram also creating a test chamber.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool for applying punched rivets, either full rivets or semi-tubular rivets. The tool having a blank holder for pretensioning assembly pieces, especially metal sheets; a rivet punch movable in an axial direction within a cylinder of the blank holder; and a die that is arranged opposite the blank holder and punch and provided with an annular prominence on an end face thereof and facing the rivet punch. A radial outside section of said end face concentrically surrounds said annular prominence, the outside section of said end face being displaceable relative to the annular prominence as a function of one of the penetration depth of the rivet into the assembly pieces and the force that the rivet punch exerts on the rivet.

The nut holding the trophy assembly is threaded onto the rod from underneath the flange and tightened with a fastening means such as socket wrench. A pair of apertures in the base of the fixture allows the fixture to be mounted with screws or bolts to a working surface such as a work bench.

Abstract: A structure and method are present where a sidewall of a load lock chamber is formed by extrusion, to produce a reproducible tubular structure to form the walls of a vacuum chamber with greatly improved vacuum performance. The use of an extruded structure reduces the dimensional variability, increases the uniformity of a surface finish, and provides uniform top and bottom sealing arrangements, which allow full and easy access to the inside of the sidewalls for cleaning. In another arrangement heat transfer fluid passages can be formed in the wall of the chamber simultaneously as the wall of the chamber is extruded. Heating or cooling liquid can then be circulated through the passages in the wall of the chamber to heat the walls of the chamber as sometimes required to prevent condensation on the inside of the chamber walls, or provide cooling as is required for cool down of a wafer, after processing at an elevated temperature.

A cam sleeve is provided for being positioned in axial and rotational sliding relation over the small diameter segment of the cam pin and within the bolt hole of the second coupling.

Abstract: A fastener assembly is inserted into a throughhole of a composite laminate to thereby fasten the composite laminate together. The throughhole has a length extending from a first outer surface of the composite laminate to a second outer surface of the composite laminate. The throughhole has a first width at the first outer surface, a second width at the second outer surface, and a third width at a point along the length of the throughhole between the first outer surface and the second outer surface. The third width is less than each of the first width and the second width. The fastener assembly includes a substantially annular fastener device having an axial opening and a peripheral surface substantially conforming to the inner surface of the throughhole.
