Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Dahlia plant named ‘Limousin’, characterized by its upright, uniformly mounded and compact plant habit; freely branching habit, full and dense plants; continuous and freely flowering during the spring until fall; full inflorescences with multiple rows of ray florets; reddish purple-colored ray florets with bright yellow-colored disc florets; and excellent garden and patio container performance.
Abstract: An Ananas comosus variety is provided that forms attractive orange-red oval to cylindrical fruit with relatively flat fruitlets. The fruit is substantially uniformly colored from top to bottom when ripe even in the absence of chemical treatment with a growth regulator. The fruit flesh is golden yellow and substantially homogeneous. When compared to Smooth Cayenne (non-patented in the United States), the fruit flesh in generally sweeter and commonly contains substantially more ascorbic acid. Such higher ascorbic acid content is of nutritional benefit and serves to retard the browning of the flesh. Completely spineless piping leaves are formed. On an infrequent basis peduncle slips are formed that commonly are spaced below the fruit and do not to pose any significant interference. The fruit crown is long, erect, and conical. The fruit yield is generally comparable to that of Smooth Cayenne.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which abundantly forms attractive very double blossoms that are a blend of yellow and salmon pink. The plant exhibits a bushy strong vigorous growth habit, dense dark green foliage, and excellent disease resistance particularly with respect to Black Spot. The attractive dark green foliage contrasts nicely with the light-colored blossoms. The new variety is particularly well suited for growing as attractive ornamentation in the landscape such as in parks and gardens.
Abstract: A system of plastic plant trays is disclosed for conveniently transporting, displaying and removing (for planting) young plants or seedlings. In the preferred embodiment, each tray comprises a plurality of cells for removably housing the plants; unique pull-out tabs for gently lifting plants atop them from individual cells; and a color-coded handle that identifies the price of the plants. By pulling up on a dangling end of a tab, a gardener can lift and later extract a plant with minimal damage to its roots or flowers.

Abstract: An apparatus for covering an infant that is placed in a front-worn type of infant carrier includes a flexible center panel that includes a pair of arcuate sides that curve inward proximate the vertical center of the center panel. A pair of flexible side panels each include a pair of opposite outwardly curved edges that are each attached on one side to one of the arcuate sides of the center panel. An adjustable neck strap that is attached to the center panel is placed around the neck of the person using the apparatus. The person attaches the front-worn infant carrier to the front of their person and then places the infant therein, either facing the infant rearward or facing forward. The apparatus is then secured about the neck of the person and is allowed to drape over the infant carrier and the infant therein, thereby protecting the infant from the sun and elements.

Abstract: A covering (2) for a portion of a human head (16) and its method of use is disclosed. The covering (2) is an envelope formed from a flexible material and provided with a mouth, the material defining the mouth of the envelop. The length of the edge (6) of the material defining the mouth being at least partially elastically extendable. The envelope and the mouth are dimensioned to allow a first portion (8) of the envelope to be placed over the top and back portion of a head (16) and a second portion (10) of the envelope to extend forwards of the head (16), such that on twisting of the second portion (10) of the envelope through at least 180° about an axis (18) extending forwards from the head, part of the second portion (10) of the envelope may be caused to overlie the first portion (8) of the envelope on the head.
Abstract: A front center opening can be opened and closed by a zip fastener. A hook assembly joins upper ends of the front center opening in a separable way and adjusts a waist size of pants within a fixed range. An adjusting cloth is sewed between one of fastener tapes of the zip fastener and an outer cloth of the front center opening. The adjusting cloth has an overlap to provide an extra length on the waist size of the pants. The hook assembly adjusts the waist size of the pants so as to fit a waist size of a user. The overlap of the adjusting cloth is extended in a specified manner so as to adjust a size of the pants corresponding to a portion lower than the waist of the user.
