Abstract: A cam portion 5 is composed of a first to fifth arcuate surfaces 51 to 55. The first arcuate surface 51 is arranged such that when a cover member C of a cellular telephone is located in a neutral position, a plate spring portion 22 contacts a crossing portion 56 where the first arcuate surface 51 crosses an orthogonal line Lp passing through a center of curvature of the first arcuate surface 51 and orthogonal to a rotation axis L. A second and a third arcuate surface, 52, 53 are arranged on both sides of the first arcuate surface 51. Radii of curvature of the second and third arcuate surfaces are set to be smaller than a radius of curvature of the first arcuate surface 51.

Abstract: Yarn breakage position detecting method and device. The device includes a tension detector arranged at a reference position, to monitor tension of a running yarn, so that from a tension signal output by the tension detector, occurrence of yarn breakage is first detected and passage of the end of a broken yarn through the reference position is then detected. The yarn breakage position is calculated based on the time period from occurrence of yarn breakage to passage of the broken yarn end through the reference position. The time when the yarn is broken is stored as a time at which the tension signal becomes a peak value and/or a time at which the tension signal begins to decrease below a steady state tension value. The time when the yarn passes through the reference position is stored as a time at which the tension signal becomes lower than a lower limit value and/or a time at which natural oscillation begins.

Abstract: In a method of producing a turbine blade in hollow section, an especially low defect or scrap rate is to be ensured. To this end, a first core element is connected via a number of approximately cylindrical spacers to a further core element and/or to a casting mold, the cavities left in the casting mold by the core elements being filled by blade material, and the openings remaining in the turbine blade after the removal of the core elements and the spacers and produced by the spacers being closed by stopper elements.

Abstract: A method for forming metallic reinforcement cages for reinforced concrete includes a step of distribution of the stirrups within specific positioning and retaining means distanced lengthwise, the positioning and retaining means cooperating at least with a portion of the stirrups to clamp them in an erect position on a substantially vertical plane, a step of longitudinal positioning of the longitudinal rods on respective transverse arms, the transverse arms being longitudinally interposed between the means to position and retain the stirrups, a step of reciprocal connection of the longitudinal rods and the stirrups, a step of release of the cage from the positioning and retaining means, and a step of relative displacement in height between the transverse arms and the means to position and retain the stirrups so as to position reciprocally the longitudinal rods and the stirrups at various heights according of the design of the cage to be formed.

Abstract: A wet shaving device has a razor head carried by a handle and supports a disposable blade cartridge which has a plurality of blades. A guard/transfer roller supported for rotation on the razor head in advance of a lead blade provides a guard for the lead blade, forms a closure for a dispensing slot in the razor head, receives soap film from a wetted block of soap preparation disposed within the dispensing slot, and transfers soap film from the wetted block to and deposits it ahead of the lead blade and on the skin surface being shaved during a normal shaving process. A spring biased pusher disposed within the dispensing slot and which normally urges the block of soap preparation into engagement with the roller is manually withdrawn from the dispensing slot to facilitate replenishment of spent soap preparation.

Abstract: A razor cartridge is provided that includes a frame, at least four razor blades, a guard that includes a contact surface, and a cap that includes a contact surface. The razor blades are supported by the frame. The guard is disposed forward of the razor blades and the cap is disposed aft of the razor blades. The razor blades are arranged so that the cutting edge of each razor blade is adjacent a plane that tangentially intersects the contact surfaces of the guard and the cap. As a result, each stroke of the razor exposes the surface being shaved to at least four razor blade cutting edges in succession. A unitary razor assembly that includes a head characterized in the same manner as the above-described cartridge is also provided.

Abstract: A hand held hair trimming device which when pulled through the hair cuts only a determined portion of the ends of hair strands while leaving adjacent hairs uncut. The device will cut a predetermined length off only the distal ends of the hair shafts each time it has the hair drawn through its serpentine channel. Angled encounter of the distal ends with the cutting blade is prevented by ridges and apertures encouraging such contact only at subtantially straight angles. The device may be held in either hand allowing the hair pass through in either direction by merely changing the rotational direction of the motor by moving the thumb switch. The blade section of the device may be adjustable for changing the amount of the determined length to be cut from the hair shafts or may be removable and replaceable with one of a plurality of differently configured blade assemblies thereby allowing for easy adjustment of the trimmed amount.
