Patent number: RE38094Abstract: A lockable quick release mechanism is provided having a cam lever threaded onto a shaft which extends through and beyond a barrel nut, fitted in the cam lever so that it will provide interference with a padlock when locked. The cam lever has a lock hole for the padlock, and a curvature which, when locked, will stop the cam lever from being rotated more than a few degrees due to interference with the fork blade. A cam follower is provided on the shaft and has anti-rotation tabs, which fit into the clevis of the cam lever, and which engages the camming surface of the cam lever thereby preventing the cam lever from being rotated in the locked position due to the amount of friction between the cam follower and the fork tip. The cam follower is always biased by a spring against the camming surface to prevent a fork blade from being mis-positioned between the cam follower and the camming surface.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2001Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Inventor: Charles P. Patent number: RE38096Abstract: An improved arrow rest for use in combination with an archery bow is disclosed. The present arrow rest provides complete radial support to an arrow disposed in a ready-to-draw position even if the bow is tilted or rotated radially relative to an axis of the arrow. Such radial support is provided by an inverted coil brush comprising a disc-shaped structure having a plurality of radially disposed, inwardly projecting bristles of a predetermined length attached therein forming a central opening in the arrow rest wherein the arrow shaft is radially supported. The bristles are arranged within the coil brush so as to impart no significant hindrance to the passage of an arrow therethrough. Thus, no angular orientation of the arrow vanes to the arrow nock is required which permits the use of the arrow rest with any configuration of arrow fletching or number of vanes.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1999Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Assignee: Carolina Archery Products, Inc.Inventors: Wilfred Issac Branthwaite, Stephen Charles Graf

Patent number: RE38097Abstract: A method and arrangement for the insitu cleaning of a chamber in which process gas is injected into the chamber through gas injection ports. Separate gas injection ports through which process gas and the cleaning gas are injected into the chamber are provided. The process gas is injected into the chamber, such as a plasma chamber, through a first gas injection port while the cleaning gas, which cleans the residue left by the process gas during the deposition process, is injected into the chamber through the second gas injection port that is separate from the first gas injection port through which the process gas is injected. The separation of the gas injection ports provides an equalized pressure within the jet screw ports for the process gas and the interior of the chamber. This allows the jet screw ports to be maximally cleaned and reduces the frequency of replacement of the jet screw ports in the chamber.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2001Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Assignee: Lam Research CorporationInventors: David Trussell, C. Patent number: RE38101Abstract: Methods and apparatus for activating telephone services in response to speech are described. A directory including names is maintained for each customer. A speaker dependent speech template and a telephone number for each name, is maintained as part of each customer's directory. Speaker independent speech templates are used for recognizing commands. The present invention has the advantage of permitting a customer to place a call by speaking a person's name which serves as a destination identifier without having to speak an additional command or steering word to place the call. This is achieved by treating the receipt of a spoken name in the absence of a command as an implicit command to place a call. Explicit speaker independent commands are used to invoke features or services other than call placement. Speaker independent and speaker dependent speech recognition are performed on a customer's speech in parallel.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2000Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Assignee: Telesector Resources Group, Inc.Inventors: George J. Patent number: 6553584Abstract: A spa cooling fan assembly mounted in the wall of a spa cabinet. The cabinet encloses a water circulating pump. A fan motor frame is secured over an opening in the spa cabinet wall and the fan is driven by a turbine. The turbine is driven by a flow of water from the water circulating pump so that when the water pump is running, the cooling fan also operates. A second cooling fan assembly may be mounted in a second opening in the spa cabinet wall. One cooling fan draws air out of the cabinet and the second cooling fan draws air from outside te cabinet into the cabinet. The result is that when the water pump is running, air is being circulated into the spa cabinet to keep the pump motor cool.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2002Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Inventor: Joseph G.
