  • Patent number: 6558149
Abstract: A holding device (1) for injection molding mold halves (61.2) or their holders contains two displacement units (2.1, 2.2), on each of which a rotation unit (4.1, 4.2) is attached. On each rotation unit (4.1, 4.2) there are holders (5.1, 5.2). Into the space (d) between the two holders (5.1, 5.2) a die holder designed as a prism-shaped rotating block can be inserted. The die holder in the holding device (1) can be displaced in one direction (z) and can be rotated around a displaceable axis (42.1, 42.2), which is vertical to the one direction (z). The displacement units (2.1, 2.2) can be displaced relative to one another to permit rapid and easy changing of injection molding molds (62.1).

  • Patent number: 6558150
Abstract: The method of moving a turntable in an apparatus for molding and punching out containers from a thermoplastic plastic foil by a differential pressure is to be executed such that relatively-small gravitational forces occur as the end positions of the pivoting movement are approached. In this way, the apparatus can be operated with a high stroke number, and not necessitate complicated curved paths. This is attained through the reduction of the distance between the center of gravity of the unit comprising the turntable and the lower tool half and a fixed pivot point in the first half of the pivoting angle during the pivoting of the turntable, with the distance being increased again in the second half of the pivoting angle. This change in position supports the accelerating or braking of the turntable.

  • Patent number: 6558172
Abstract: A shielding wire is bent in a bent shape and also is fixed in the bent shape by a housing. In the bent portion of the shielding wire, a core wire and a shielding layer are exposed by removing an outer coating and an inner insulating layer and also an insulating member, which may be heat-shrinkable, is interposed between the core wire and the shielding layer. When the insulating member is a heat-shrinkable member, an allowable bending radius of the shielding wire becomes smaller if the core wire is covered with the insulating member and bent before shrinkage, compared with the case of the core wire being bent together with the outer coating and the inner insulating layer. This results in miniaturization of the bent portion.

Abstract: A connector includes a connector body, a post member, and a fastener member. In one embodiment, the connector provides for coupling a coaxial cable having a center conductor, an insulator core, an outer conductor, and a sheath to a terminal device. A nut coupled to either the connector body or post member can be used on the connector to make the connection to the device. The post member has a cavity that accepts the center conductor and insulator core of a coaxial cable. An outer cavity is formed by the connector body and the post member such that the outer conductor and the sheath of a coaxial cable are positioned therebetween. The fastener member, in a pre-installed first configuration is movably fastened onto the connector body. The fastener member can be moved toward the nut into a second configuration in which the fastener member coacts with the connector body so that the connector sealingly grips the coaxial cable.
