Abstract: A wet tissue container (10) includes a container body (11), a lid (23) supported for turning on the container body (11) and a bottom wall (12) hermetically closing the open lower end of the container body (11). A rubber plate (50) is extended between the container body (11) and the lid (23). The wet tissue container (10) is held by a container holder (1). The container holder (1) has a back part (2) on which the bottom wall (12) is seated, guide parts (3, 4) of an L-shaped cross section that engage edge parts (12a, 12b) of the bottom wall (12) and edge parts (14a, 14b) of a flange (14) formed on the container body (11). A support part (5) to be inserted in a slot formed in a toilet paper holder (7) is connected to the back part (2).

Abstract: An elongated packaging device is provided for packaging at least one disc-shaped item such as, for example, a recording media disc such as a CD, a CD-ROM or a DVD, together with other materials relating to such disc or otherwise in a stacked relationship. The packaging device includes a first member provided with a first chamber and a first opening, and a second member provided with a second chamber and a second opening for the storage of other materials in such second chamber. The first member may include an inner structure defining central support for the disc media by means of interaction of such inner structure with the annular opening at the center of the disc media, such that the disc media is allowed to rotate, while limiting the linear movement of the disc media both perpendicular to and parallel to the plane of the media.

Abstract: An expandable accessory box (10) may be configured in either a retracted configuration or an expanded configuration. In the retracted configuration, the expandable accessory box (10) may be used in connection with a first primary box (51) to accommodate both the base piece of equipment or base component, such as a portable computer for example, and a first volume (A) of accessories to be shipped together with the base component. The first primary box (51) snugly receives both the base component and the accessory box (10) in the retracted configuration. However, the accessory box (10) may be placed in the expanded configuration and used with a second, larger primary box (61) to contain both the base component, the first volume (A) of accessories, and an additional volume (E) of accessories. The second primary box (61) is sized to snugly receive the base component and the accessory box (10) in its expanded configuration.

Abstract: A shipping package for a floral grouping including a sheet of material bonded to a support member and wrapped upwardly and gathered at a portion above the floral grouping to enclose the floral grouping. A bonding material joins the gathered portion, and a plurality of perforations in the sheet of material provides for the detachment of a detachable portion above the floral grouping. The support member can be provided as a foldable member to form an outer enclosure about the floral grouping with the sheet of material forming a substantially water tight enclosure between the floral grouping and the outer enclosure.

Abstract: In combinations of stimulable phosphor sheets and cassettes, at least a stimulable phosphor sheet for single-side reading is prevented from being stored in a cassette for double-side reading. A shape of the stimulable phosphor sheet for single-side reading is different from a shape of a stimulable phosphor sheet for double-side reading. A shape of a container area of the cassette for double-side reading does not allow the sheet for single-side reading to be contained therein, due to the difference in the shapes of the sheets.

Abstract: A vacuum receiving bag is formed by a bag body, a sealing edge installed at an opening of the bag body and an airtight valve at a selected position of the bag body. When the plug cover of the airtight valve is pressed by a hand, the airtight valve will conduct, so that air in the bag body will be absorbed and thus the bag will approach to a vacuum state. On the contrary, after the air absorbing tube is taken away, the airtight valve will close automatically. Next, the airtight valve can be used with an air tap, thereby, an operator may operate a pump manually to achieve the object of absorbing air. Moreover, the seal edge at the opening of the bag body is formed by two matched seal strips, and therefore, a preferred air seal effect is achieved.

The recording medium holder has an accommodating member which forms a first accommodating region being capable of accommodating at least one sheet of the recording medium to be held and a second accommodating region being capable of accommodating at least one recording device for recording relevant data generated in relation to the processing of information by an information processing apparatus. The accommodating member includes a recording medium holding portion for positioning and holding the recording medium to be held in the first accommodating region and a recording device holding portion for positioning and holding the recording device to be held in the second accommodating region.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention is directed to an improved display system that is compatible with a variety of different fixtures. In an illustrative embodiment, an integral hook and bracket system can be mounted to both wire grid and hanger bar fixture systems. After attachment of an adapter unit, the system of the illustrative embodiment can also be mounted to pegboard and slot wall fixture systems. In another aspect, the invention relates to an improved display device that incorporates a product information display member. In another illustrative embodiment, an integral hook and bracket assembly compatible with a plurality of different fixture systems includes a horizontally extending product information placard.

Abstract: A merchandising display shelf track device for receiving a row of articles for sliding movement therealong has a front track segment, a riser panel and a number of ribs. The front track segment has a base wall with a front portion and a rear portion. The riser panel is upstanding from the front portion of the base wall. The ribs are upstanding from the base wall and are attached to the riser panel. The top surface of the ribs is inclined at the front so that a bottle sliding along the track has its direction changed so that the bottle does not tip over.

Abstract: A roller board display device includes a base having two lugs on a side thereof and two stubs extend from bottom of said base so that the display devices can be connected in series by inserting the stubs in the holes of lugs. A rest board is connected to said top surface of said base and a recess is defined in said rest board. One of the roller frame is engaged with the notch in the rest board and an end of the roller board is engaged with two recesses defined in a top surface of the base. A side of the roller board may also be engaged with the two recesses and the other side of the roller board is rested on the rest board.

Abstract: An electrically operated coupler includes a knuckle movable between an open position and a closed position, a plunger mechanically couplable to the knuckle, and a solenoid having a central hollow portion for receiving at least a portion of the plunger, at least a portion of the solenoid includes ferromagnetic material adapted to define at least a portion of a magnetic circuit for driving the plunger. The movable plunger includes a cap configured to engage the knuckle at a locking position of the plunger for locking the knuckle in the closed position. The solenoid drives the movable plunger toward or away from the locking position and a guide member guides the cap toward and away from the locking position.

Abstract: A bottle having an offset neck includes a symmetrical body having a longitudinal axis and a closed, flat, bottom end and a bottle neck section opposite the bottle bottom end, the neck section having a proximal neck portion connected to the body and aligned along the body's longitudinal axis. A distal neck portion smaller than the body includes an opening into the bottle, with the distal neck portion and bottle opening offset with respect to the body's longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A bottle security device includes an inner member and an outer member that cooperate to lock the bottle security device on the neck of a bottle. The inner member includes a plurality of fingers that are adapted to fit under the bead on a bottle neck. The inner member further includes outwardly extending teeth. The outer sleeve member of the device slides over the inner member and forces the fingers against the bottle. The outer sleeve member further includes a plurality of upwardly extending arms that have inwardly projecting teeth that engage the teeth of the inner member to lock the two members together. A key is used to separate the two pieces and release the security device from the bottle. The key extends down through the top of the outer sleeve member to physically engage the upwardly extending arms and to move them radially outward to where they disengage the inner member.

Abstract: Filler elements for a tank of combustible fluid described herein are formed from a sheet of foil mesh material by a multiple fold technique. The folding process places the free edges of the sheet in the center of the filler element where they are protected and where any piece that breaks off will be trapped. The sides are first folded inwardly and then the ends are folded inwardly. Finally, this intermediate member is rolled, formed, molded or folded further into the final desired shape for the filler element. Folding is facilitated by use of a crushed crease along desired fold lines. To reduce nesting of the mesh, various sections of the mesh corresponding to the fold lines present openings of differing sizes.

Abstract: A cover for a portable food container comprising a cover body and a utensil. The utensil includes a head piece and a handle piece. The head piece and the handle piece are each detachably secured to the cover body and are configured for assembly to each other upon detachment from the cover body to form the utensil. In one preferred embodiment, the handle piece includes a reinforcement for limiting longitudinal bending thereof. In an alternative embodiment, the cover further includes a protective film resealably secured to the cover body.

Abstract: A container includes first and second intersecting surfaces, and has at least one tearstrip opening to permit access to the contents of the container. The opening is positioned substantially at the intersection of those surfaces to permit drainage of substantially all of the contents of the container through the opening formed upon tearing of the tearstrip. Where the intersection is formed by a lid and a container wall, the lid has an outermost edge and the opening is positioned sufficiently near to the outermost edge to permit the desired drainage but also either does not tear the outermost edge (because the opening is sufficiently inwardly from the outermost edge) or does not destroy the hoop strength of a downwardly-depending hoop flange formed at the outermost edge. A plurality of such tearstrips may be provided and may be spaced from each other to provide pouring and/or venting in a variety of directions.

Abstract: A container for the thermostatic preservation of liquids, to be used particularly for leisure, sport and for infants, including a shell (8), formed by two coupled portions (9, 10), and forming a cavity (11) for accommodating a vessel (12) which contains the liquid. The shell is made of thermally insulating and impact-resistant material. The invention fully solves the problems of conventional containers, since it achieves a thermostatic preservation of liquids whose duration can be compared to that of thermos flasks and at the same time protects the vessel against any external aggressive agents, such as dust, insects and so forth.

Abstract: A medicine-dispensing system has a medication reminder to assist the patient in following a drug regimen. In an example embodiment, a medication reminder comprises a timer programmable to a predetermined interval. A user-alert is responsive to the timer, reminding the user to take a dose of medicine at the predetermined interval. A sensor detects whether a dose of medicine has been taken and a dose-indication informs the user of the time since a last medication. The dose indication further informs the user as to whether to take a next medication dose. Time of the last dose is determined by the timer receiving a signal from the sensor. A communications interface enables programming of a parameter associated with administering a medication.

Abstract: A storage and dispensing package for wipes comprising a non-rigid container having sides which define a cavity. A collapsible-expandable baffle structure having a width is positioned within the sides of the container and divides the cavity into a storage portion for wipes and a dispensing portion. The baffle structure includes a dispensing orifice through which wipes can pass and communicate with the dispensing portion. A resealable mechanism can also be included at an end of the package.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cigarette vending machine, especially for installing in the checkout area of a market or the like, comprising a housing (12) wherein several shafts (16) are located (16). Said shafts accommodate columns of cigarette packs (18) which are oriented upright with their broad sides resting against each other. A discharge outlet for individual cigarette packs is located at the front of the shafts (16). The aim of the invention is to provide a simple means of discharging a cigarette pack whilst ensuring that the packs are suitably presented to the customer. The pack should not however be removed directly from the supply shaft. To this end, an optionally controllable drive mechanism (36, 38, 40) is allocated to each shaft (16). Each drive mechanism has a pressure piece (42) which exerts pressure acting on the back side of the rearmost cigarette pack (18) of the column of packs, urging frontwards.

Abstract: A mechanism for dispensing earplugs is provided, including a container for storing the earplugs, the container having at least one container opening through which the earplugs are dispensed, a shutter assembly located at the container opening, the shutter assembly having at least one shutter opening formed therein, and a funnel member attached to the shutter assembly for guiding dispensed earplugs to an operator. The shutter assembly of the present invention moves to bring the shutter opening into alignment with the container opening thus allowing the earplugs to pass from the earplug container, through the shutter assembly, into the dispensing flange, and to the operator.

Abstract: A dispenser for providing a number of frozen products. The dispenser includes a refrigeration system and a product delivery system. The refrigeration system includes a compressor and the product delivery system includes three product barrels. The dispenser thus may provide three frozen products and up to two blends of the products. The dispenser also may have a frame. The frame may have a width of about seventeen (17) to about twenty-four (25) inches and a length of about twenty-four (24) to about forty (40) inches.

Abstract: A combination of liquid containers having caps depressible for ejecting the contents includes several holding parts, and upper part, and a bottom part. The holding parts each has a depressible cap connected to an outlet portion of the top thereof. The upper, and the bottom parts are respectively connected to the tops, and the bottoms of the holding parts, which are closely arranged together, so as to provide stability to the liquid containers.

Abstract: A dispenser pump is provided with a pump head and a locking cap fastened to the pump head. The pump head and locking cap are provided with a ratchet portion to prevent the pump head from being disengaged from the locking cap accidentally or inadvertently. The ratchet portion can be twisted off to facilitate the disengaging of the pump head with the locking cap, so as to enable the dispenser pump.

Abstract: A holster security device comprising a latching mechanism which is attached to a holster on a side portion thereof so as to form an integral unit. The device comprises a finger-operated tab extending beyond the housing of the security device and a latch hook which engages a male fastener mounted on a holster safety strap. When the male fastener engages its female counterpart and is aligned with the security device, the strap acts to restrain a firearm. A standard lock and key system is used to provide a high-level of security by locking the moving portions of the safety device and preventing unauthorized removal or theft of a firearm. Another feature of the invention is a trigger safety lock operable in conjunction with a latching mechanism while the firearm is seated in the holster. Optionally, the operation of the safety device parts can be mechanically, electrically, or electronically assisted.

Abstract: An accessory carrier assembly includes a reversible shank manufactured of a substantially square first portion and a substantially square second portion such that the first segment is preferably angled relative to the second segment. The first portion is sized to engage a first hitch receiver and the second portion is sized to engage a second hitch receiver. To attach the accessory carrier to the reversible shank, the first segment is located in amounting assembly either with or without the bushings depending on which type of hitch receiver is available. The accessory carrier can also be pivoted by removal of a single pin. The angle of the reversible shank forms a stop that contacts the accessory carrier to prevent over rotation of the accessory carrier and possible contact with the ground.

The pocket assemblies have a holding space that is adapted for holding a finishing knife. One of the pluralities of pocket assemblies is adapted for removably coupling to the belt of the user. The pocket assemblies are coupled to an adjacent one of the pocket assemblies. A plurality of compartments are provided. Each of the compartments has a storage space adapted for storing one of the finishing knives. Each of the a compartments is coupled to an adjacent one of the compartments. One of the compartments is coupled to one of the pocket assemblies such that the compartments are adapted for being removably coupled to the user.

Abstract: A dispenser is configured to receive a roll of thin, flexible film, preferably with an adhesive on one surface thereof, for use as a temporary hand covering. The film is drawn from the roll through rotation over a backing member such that the adhesive surface faces outwardly, enabling a user to place the palm and fingers of a hand against the film and backing member prior to severing the film into a sheet now adhered to the hand. The backing member itself preferably forms part of a compressible body enabling a user to squeeze the body through the film for improved adherence of the sheet to the hand. Various alternatives are disclosed for severing the film into individual sheets. The sheet itself may include lines of perforations, spaced apart along the roll at a distance sufficient to cover a hand. Additionally, the dispenser may include an element which the film is drawn past to cut the film. Such an element my be in the form of a blade having a knife edge or serrations, and maybe heated.

Abstract: In web-fed rotary printing machines having a plurality of operating units arranged one after another, each unit having synchronously driven elements that interact directly or indirectly with the printing-material web, high reliability and short response times are achieved by a torque monitoring device having inputs for signals corresponding to the torque on at least one element of each operating unit. Upon the occurrence of an abrupt torque change on at least one monitored element, the monitoring device generates an output signal associated with a web break.

Further, the processed film-like printing body is automatically fed out by a predetermined stroke. In a state of a film-like printing body (9) being clamped by all the fixing clamps (19, 19, 29, 29), a tension clamp (12) in a rear side of a parts mounting apparatus (33) in a moving direction of the film-like printing body (9) is moved forward by a cylinder (17) while being kept open. Then, tension clamp (12) is pulled back by an operation of a tension coil spring (18) while the film-like printing body (9) being kept clamped. After mounting of the parts, the tension clamp (12) is opened. Next, the film-like printing body (9) is clamped by feeding clamps (20, 20), and at the same time, all of the fixing clamps (19, 19, 29, 29) are opened.

Abstract: A collation strip for use within a nail gun is fabricated from a suitable polypropylene composition and has a relatively large thickness dimension, however, in order to impart enhanced flexibility to the thickened collation strip, the collation strip is provided with a plurality of auxiliary apertures within its spine section, or alternatively within its spine and hinged sections. Such enhanced flexibility permits the collation strip to be utilized under relatively low temperature conditions such that the collation strip will not experience jamming within the nail gun.

Abstract: A portable electric nailing gun operating from a power supply. The motor accelerates a flywheel which at the appropriate energy state is coupled through a mechanism to an anvil acting directly on the nail. The actuation is governed by a control circuit and initiated from a trigger switch. The motor accelerates a flywheel that is then clutched to the output anvil causing the nail to be driven. The position of the output anvil is sensed and once the nail is driven, the motor is dynamically braked reducing the excess energy in the flywheel. This method uses a highly responsive motor and power supply which enables the motor to come up to speed, drive the nail and return to a low energy condition in less than 2 seconds. The electrical control circuit and brake allow precise control and improve safety. The power supply is preferably a rechargeable low impedance battery.

If desired, the apparatus and method also provides for the use of either a penetrating or non-penetrating fixed clamp for the lead fingers during the wire bonding process in addition to the penetrating individual independent lead finger clamp during the wire bonding process to provide increased stability of the individual lead finger for improved bonding.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for solid bonding without using a bonding agent are provided. A surface of metal, glass, or other bond members 16a and 16b is fluorinated by exposure to a mixture of HF gas from a HF gas supply unit 24 and water vapor from a vapor generator 26 in a fluorination process section 12. The bond members 16a and 16b are then placed in contact at the fluorinated surface on table 36 in bonding process section 14. Argon is then introduced to bonding chamber 34. Pressure is then applied to the first bond member 16a and second bond member 16b by a cylinder 46, and heated to below the melting point by a heater 48, to bond the first and second bond members together.

Abstract: A carton with a new dispenser that can be opened by a pull tab with this dispenser flap being placed in a corner of the top panel of the carton so that it is adjacent to the tops of the small necks of the bottles for easy opening and removal or for opening and reclosing. The dispenser flap is held in position by resistant tear lines but can be easily removed by an attached pull tab that is loosely connected to the top panel.
