Abstract: A mop having a sponge mop pad is effective for cleaning in a hospital for avoidance of internal infection. In a conventional sponge mop, for washing off dust and dirt sticking to the mop after used for the cleaning, spring force has been used for folding the sponge mop pad at the middle position thereof to squeeze off the water contained in the mop by compression force. This requires a large force and workers, especially women workers, had a difficulty in the cleaning work. In the present invention, the mop having the sponge mop pad comprises a projection and the mop squeezer comprises an insert member into which the projection is inserted. By the principle of lever, the sponge mop pad is easily squeezed by homogenous compression force and predetermined water content of the mop, after squezzed, can be realized.

The object is to allow the ring to be easily inserted into the groove and secured there until the overall dashpot is assembled. The groove is accordingly higher at its outer circumference and its inner circumference (12) is deformed, compressing the rim (8) in place.

Abstract: Low melting point metal such as Zn is sprayed onto a flat surface (3a) of an aluminum flat tube (3) to form a sprayed metal coating (15) thereon inmediately after extrusion of the flat tube. Inmediately thereafter, a brazing foil (11) is integrally adhered onto the sprayed metal coating (15). The obtained flat tube (3) with the brazing foil is combined with a corrugated fin (4) to form a temporary assembly. Then, the temporary assembly is heated at a predetermined temperature to braze the tube (3) and the fin (4) to thereby form a heat exchanger core. The low melting point metal may be sprayed on both the flat surface (3a) of the flat tube and the surface of the brazing foil (11). Thus, it becomes possible to obtain a lightweight thin fin and to decrease material costs.

Abstract: A rolling guide apparatus comprises a first slide member and second slide member. The first slide member includes a pair of wing portions and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions. First raceway grooves are formed on the wing portions, individually. Second raceway grooves are formed on the second slide member. Rolling elements are held under a pre-load between the raceway grooves. A residual compression stress region is created on the surface region of the first slide member. A worked portion is formed on the connecting portion. The worked portion serves to adjust the pre-load on the rolling elements by regulating the residual compression stress region by working to deform the connecting portion.

Abstract: The V-Nose Nail Clipper is a new design for a toenail clipper that offers dual-action features. The V-Nose Toe Nail Clipper can be used as a regular nail clipper as well as a special clipper that can be used to cut out ingrown nails. The extended, tapered edges allow you to clip the edges of the toenail preventing the painful, continued growth into the skin, which is caused by regular toenail clipper. Regular toe nail clipper don't have the side reach to allow you to make a clean cut, which in term leave sharp edges on the edge of the nail. The V-Nose Toe Clipper will allow you to make a clean cut, because of the extended, tapered edges on the toenail clipper. Also, the V-Nose Toenail Clipper will prevent you from getting ingrown toenails, because of the extended, tapered edges allow you to make a clean cut.

The shaving units for short-hair cutting each include an upper blade and a lower blade, which can be moved relative to one another by a drive. The long-hair cutter is formed from at least two cutting elements that can be moved relative to one another and are arranged one beside the other. The cutting elements of the long-hair cutter are each of comb-like design, and their rows of cutting teeth, which are formed by tines, are oriented essentially perpendicularly to the skin which is to be shaved.

Abstract: A tool for use in cutting cable, preferably ACSR cable, includes first and second blades having cutting configurations. The first and second blades are pivotally connected and a handle are attached to each blade. Movement of the handles rotates the blades about the pivot point. Cable positioned between the cutting configurations is systematically cut by the cutting configurations as the blades are rotated toward each other. Each cutting configuration includes first and second sharp edges and a blunt edge positioned therebetween which defines a concave recess. The first and second sharp edges are used to cut the aluminum strands surrounding the steel cable. During the cutting of the aluminum strands, the steel portion of the cable is urged into the concave recess defined by the blunt edges. The steel cable is then sheared using the blunt edges.

Abstract: A utility knife has a disposable blade cartridge in its handle that has front and rear blade compartments. Each compartment is sized to store a plurality of blades in side-by-side relation. Fresh blades are disposed in the front compartment and one end of each is advanced one at a time substantially out of the compartment into operative position by a carrier that is controlled by an actuator on the handle. When the active blade is to be replaced, it is moved by the carrier into the rear compartment, and a new blade may then be withdrawn from the front compartment into the operative position. The active blade when not in use is partially withdrawn into the front compartment. The cartridge is reversed when the one end of all the blades in the front compartment are used, placing what was the rear compartment at the front, and the unused end of each blade is advanced into the operative position and when used they are each moved to the rear compartment.
