    Abstract: An apparatus and method for selectively adjusting the hanging length of a piece of chain jewelry. A clasp casing is provided that receives the clasp ends of a piece of chain jewelry. Within the clasp casing is a matrix of posts. The clasp ends of the jewelry chain are fed into the casing and attached to separate posts. If attached to posts near the ends of the casing, the hanging length of the jewelry chain can be increased because the casing adds length to the jewelry chain. By wrapping the jewelry chain around the posts inside the casing, the hanging length of the jewelry chain can be dramatically shortened.

    Abstract: A stop device for upper stops and a pull of a Nylon zipper has an upper stop formed by a left stop and a right stop; a pull being installed on one end of a zipper strip. The upper end surfaces and the bottom of the left stop and right stop are formed with protruded stop blocks, and the pull has a left and a right teeth channel, tops or bottoms of a respective teeth channel are formed with stop grooves. When the left stop and right stop enter into the two teeth channels of the pull, the left stop and right stop enter into the stop grooves. Since the stop blocks are resisted against the stop grooves, the left stop and right stop are buckled in the pull. Moreover, the left stop and right stop have the function of preventing the pull from separating from the zipper strips.

The tongue has at least one opening. The lace is threaded through the at least one opening. Then, the lace ends are fastened by the lace-end fastener and are hidden inside the tongue and prevented from moving. The lace-section fastener is for the opposite lace sections to be fastened thereon and to be unfastened therefrom, to fasten the footwear onto and to unfasten the footwear from a foot, respectively.

Formation of the fibrous nonwoven fabric on a three-dimensional, image transfer device by hydroentangling imparts desired physical properties to the fabric such as the controlled placement of the fiber population relative to the desired three-dimensional pattern of the imaging device. Assembly can be done without tools, and with little danger of mix-assembly, or of injury to workers.

To repair a shroud cover overlap and preclude further overlap during turbine operation, a first weld bead of high hardness material is applied along the radial inside surface of the overlapping cover and adjacent an intermediate edge of the Z-shaped edges of the covers. Additional weld beads of a more ductile material are applied along the same surface behind the initial weld bead to structurally support the high hardness initially applied weld material. By building up weld material along the inside radial face of the overlapping cover adjacent the overlapped edge of the adjoining cover, the thickness of the overlapping cover is increased to preclude shroud cover overlap during further turbine operation.

The metal-forming tool is programmed to follow a metal-forming path corresponding to the substrate circumference plus a predetermined radial distance. In this manner, a metal housing is formed having a noncircular circumference corresponding in shape to the catalyst substrate and spaced apart by a uniform insulative layer.
