Abstract: A multi-function support garment comprising a central portion 10 that has an inner and outer surface. An elastic swath 12 connects the sides of the central portion 10 to create a continuous encircling band. Adjustment members 14 are connected to the outer surface of the elastic swath. Free ends 24 of the adjustment members 14 are detachably attached to the central portion. If desired, the adjustment members can be attached in a criss-cross fashion to localize or concentrate the application of inwardly directed supporting pressure.

Abstract: A combined container and garment protection device includes a support section with an open portion, and a container section including a pocket to receive and retain items placed within the pocket. The support section is adapted to support the device about the neck of a user. Abstract: The invention relates to a nonwoven surgical gown having a bottom periphery, an upturned flap, and an overlapping folded region. The flap extends around at least a portion of the bottom periphery and is affixed to the gown at least at one point to form an exterior facing gutter. The overlapping folded region forms at least a portion of the bottom periphery. In some embodiments, the overlapping folded region may be weighted.

Abstract: The garment has sleeves that are wider than twice the distance between the wearer's shoulders and armpits. These sleeves form folds of sleeve material under the armpits that absorb perspiration and prevent staining the outer garment. Attached to lingerie, the sleeves have bights formed in the sleeve material. These bights prevent the sleeve material from gathering, or bundling, as the lingerie shoulder straps are adjusted to adapt to the wearer's physique, thereby establishing a smooth transition from the sleeves to the lingerie that avoids forming unsightly humps in the outer garment surface. When the sleeves are used with a body shirt, a crotch strap is provided on the body shirt to stabilize the body shirt on the wearer's torso and to prevent the body shirt from “riding up” on the wearer's torso during strenuous physical activity.

Abstract: A series of embodiments of articles of apparel formed of a relatively wide gauge net or mesh material, provide increased air circulation adjacent the body of the wearer. The present apparel may be constructed as outerwear or as underwear, as desired. Additional panels of more finely woven, opaque fabric may be installed in critical areas, to provide additional support and/or to serve as modesty panels where such apparel is configured as outerwear. Alternatively, the present apparel may be provided with a removable or permanently installed thin but opaque fabric liner, in any of its embodiments. The present apparel is well suited for wear as underwear and sleep wear in very warm and humid climates, allowing perspiration to evaporate much more readily from the wearer. The installation of modesty panels or liners with the present apparel, allows the apparel to be used as outerwear, including swimwear, athletic or dance attire, etc.

Abstract: A perspiration absorbency product is in the form of a strip which can be removably attached to the inside of a shirt collar. The strip is composed of SMS polypropylene. The base of the strip has a back side with pressure-sensitive adhesive disposed thereon. The adhesive is selected so that the strip can be secured readily to the inside of the shirt collar, so that it does not readily detach through normal wear, and so that, upon removal of the strip, little to no residue remains on the inside of the shirt collar. The SMS polypropylene structure of the strip results in less friction against the wearer's neck by the front side of the strip, while allowing for sufficient absorbency to trap oils and other stain-inducing compounds from perspiration within the strip, thereby protecting the shirt from “ring around the collar.

Abstract: A bath lifting system comprises a seat which is raised and lowered inside of a bath by a lifting device positioned inside the bath. The lifting device provides an aesthetically appealing system with the seat substantially covering the lifting device, thus obscuring its view. The guiding assembly guides the seat from a lowered position to a raised position to facilitate ingress and egress to a bather. A composite bath embodiment and a retrofit embodiment, each with either straight up or laterally offset lifting, are disclosed. All the embodiments can use a closed self-pressurized system. A retrofit embodiment force compensation system provides both access to the bath adjacent the bath lifting system and safety while providing a hinge for alternative connections.

The control subsystem may perform iso-center tracking to maintain a region of interest of the patient in an image area during tilt. Abstract: A method for permanently dyeing hair is provided which includes subjecting said hair to a number of treatments having a set time interval between each two consecutive such treatments. In a first step hair is contacted for a period of about 5 seconds to about 5 minutes with a recently prepared mixture of an alkaline composition comprising a dye intermediate in a shampoo or conditioner base, a water soluble carbonate releasing salt, and a water soluble ammonium salt. Alternatively, contact can be with a water soluble ammonium carbonate or carbamate salt and a peroxide compound at acidic pH in a conditioner or shampoo base. Thereafter, the hair is rinsed with water. The number of treatments is between about 2 to about 30. Time interval between each two consecutive treatments is between about 8 hours and 30 days.

Abstract: A method and kit for permanently dyeing hair is provided which includes subjecting said hair to a number of treatments having a set time interval between each two consecutive such treatments. The method and kit utilize a colorant composition with a part A and part B. The overall composition will contain an ammonium carbonate or carbamate salt in combination with a chelant, the latter being present at levels of at least 1%. The combination of ammonium salts and chelant achieve reduced hair damage, enhanced color deposition and enhanced bleaching. Particularly preferred is a combination of ammonium carbonate and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid salt.

The cart is driven by a pair of motors extending across the cart each driving a respective pair of wheels the motors being mounted underneath the pipe with one in front of the other. A manually operable control in the form of an upstanding support bar is carried on front of the frame and operable by the operator with two switches operable to control the motors separately for forward and rearward movement of the cart and steering movements of the cart to each side for guiding the cart and the nozzle over the surface.
