Abstract: This invention relates to a display apparatus which comprises the transparent container has at least one open end and a space. The jelly layer and the max layer are filled in the transparent container. The upper of the transparent container is the max layer which can seal up the jelly layer so that the liquid in the jelly layer won't permeate or evaporate. The jelly layer is used to display the floating decoration. The max layer has the candlewick thereon to display the decoration by using the projected candlelight and lamplights to enhance the practical and ornamental functions. A lighting device can be placed under the display apparatus to display another scene trough the various layers of light.

Abstract: A display device for a vertically movable rolling shutter with the provision of a rolling/unrolling roller 4 is provided, which permits provision of various advertisement and decoration effect excellent in display character to an existing character without need of any elaborate installation work but in a very simple work, and also permits coping with contamination damage to the shutter surface.

The forward face of the overhead sign structure has traffic information as part of a government regulated traffic information system directed in a primary orientation toward the oncoming vehicle traffic. The rearward face of the overhead sign structure on an opposing side from the forward face has a secondary orientation with respect to other traffic flow different from the oncoming vehicle traffic. A billboard advertisement is positioned on the rearward face of the overhead sign structure with visual exposure to the other traffic flow.

A second layer is bonded to the first layer by an adhesive and has labels die cut into it. The bond between the first layer and the die cut labels is a releaseable bond allowing the labels and the adhesive contained thereon to be removed from the first layer.

Abstract: An adhesive pattern for a label system is disclosed. The adhesive pattern includes a label sheet having a plurality of non-adhesive sections, and a plurality of adhesive sections connected to the non-adhesive sections. The non-adhesive sections and the adhesive sections are in alternate arrangement to form the label sheet. The label sheet also includes a plurality of labels having a first end and a second end, and the first end is attached to a non-adhesive section. Upon removal of the label from a non-adhesive section, the label has a non-sticking surface.

Each mounting element comprises magnetic material and adhesive material. The gripping block assumes a first position where the gripping block extends inwardly towards the sliding rack to engage a selected transverse groove of the weapon, and a second position where the gripping block extends outwardly away from the respective side wall of the seat to release the longitudinal groove of the weapon. The connecting device also includes a control mechanism operatively coupled to the gripping block. The control mechanism assumes a normal position with the control mechanism controlling the gripping block to maintain the gripping block in the first position, and actuation of the control mechanism causes the gripping block to assume the second position.

Abstract: An insect and/or arthropod trapping device that generates its own attractants of carbon dioxide (CO2), and ammonia through the chemical reaction of adding a weakly acidic liquid such as vinegar (acetic acid) to solids such as baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), with the optional addition of urea and/or lactic acid. The liquids are mixed over a period of days onto the solids to generate CO2 in the vicinity of an insect/arthropod trap having glue boards that trap the insects and arthropods when they alight on the glue board. The attractants can be used with devices that utilize various combinations of other insect attractants and traps such as sound, light, scent, visual, electrical, chemical, sticky surfaces, mesh nets, etc., to further attract and trap or kill insects and/or arthropods.

Abstract: A mosquito barrier for use in catch basins and other water drainage structures is provided. The mosquito barrier is designed to prohibit an adult mosquito from penetrating the barrier, reaching standing water and laying eggs. Further, the mosquito barrier prohibits mosquitoes emerging from eggs laid downstream from emerging through a catch basin protected by the barrier of the present invention. The barrier is made with mesh of a size prohibitive to mosquito penetration while allowing water to flow through freely. The barrier rests within the catch basin, or other water drainage structure, well above the surface of standing water, such that all entering water must pass therethrough, and allows water to enter and flow through the structure with little flow restraint.

When the trim panel overlays the secondary trim component, the trim panel cooperates with the secondary trim component to define a map pocket.

The vent includes first and second sub-flashing portions for spanning air gaps provided between the upper reaches of a roof deck and below a centrally located ridge beam. A plurality of ventilation apertures are provided in each of the sub-flashing portions. A top cap flashing is provided for attachment above the ridge beam. Included in the top cap flashing are a plurality of ventilation apertures defined by edge wall portions. A tile roof is provided, of the flat, low profile undulating, or of the S-tile (undulating) type. Tiles are provided in rows up to the edge of the sub-flashing. The gap between the top of the tiles and the bottom of the top cap flashing is preferably provided with a weathertight seal. Ridge cap tiles are provided in conventional stacked fashion running along above the top cap flashing.

Abstract: The invention is a damper and a method for protecting buildings and similar structural systems from dynamic loading such as loading caused by earthquakes, strong winds or machine vibrations. More specifically, the damper is made from structural members being interconnected in frictional or visco-elastically dampened rotational joints. Due to the dampening of the joints, relative movement between the structural elements is dampened. In particular, the damper is useful for base isolation, e.g., in order to allow a building or a machine to move in a dampened movement relative to its foundation or in order to allow a cable stay of a cable stay bridge to move in a dampened movement relative to its fixation point on the bridge.

Abstract: A lightweight and flexible concrete forming tube for columns and pads is disclosed, wherein the tube has a very thin wall of high strength fabric and a longitudinal fabric tab running the length of the tube. The tab is sandwiched between two vertical support members made of lumber. The vertical support members and attached fabric tube are then accurately located and braced. As the interior of the tube is filled with concrete, the hydrostatic pressure causes the tube to form a cylindrical shape, thereby accurately aligning itself across from the vertical support members. The use of fabric prevents the problems associated with using cardboard forms, which weaken when exposed to moisture.

Abstract: A mounting structure for a solar panel unit, and a system of solar panel units are disclosed that are easy to manufacture and to install. The mounting structure has a relatively simple frame that can be formed by sheet metal bending operations. The solar panel unit also has a smooth exterior surface reducing wind uplift forces on the panel unit and the system.

Abstract: An installation structure and method for installing and removing a sacrificial glazing panel in a frame having a perimeter channel in which a deeper channel section is formed in the frame receiving an edge of the glazing panel to allow forcible shifting of the glazing panel so that an opposite edge clears the lip of an opposite channel section during installation and removal. A positioner element such as bowed leaf spring may be installed to reposition the glazing panel after the glazing panel is released so that the opposite edge is located to be retained by the lip after release.

The combined spacing member and side panel support includes a body structure with a pair of opposing surfaces. One of the surfaces includes a mullion-supporting surface to support a mullion thereon. The one surface further includes a side panel support surface to support one side panel. The side panel support surface is laterally spaced from the mullion-supporting surface such that a side panel located on the side panel support surface abuts the mullion located on the mullion-supporting surface. The other of the opposing surfaces has a contoured sill-engaging surface to generally conform to a topographic configuration of the sill. The body structure is configured such that, when the sill-engaging surface is engaged with the sill, the mullion-supporting surface and the side panel support surface are oriented generally horizontally. The mullion-supporting surface has a generally complimentary shape to the mullion.
