  • Patent number: 6776594
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved rotor mechanism to improve the mechanism of the intermeshing displacement rotor and valve rotor. The main feature is that the displacement rotor and the valve rotor provide the operation curve from the carryover period to intake period, which includes a pair of convex curves with different radius merging smoothly with each other, thereby providing a smooth transference of the intake, exhaust, and carryover, etc. and avoiding noise and vibration during the working process. Moreover, the displacement rotor and the valve rotor provide the operation curve from the starting of exhaust to the period of ending, which is defined by an arcuated surface thereby providing a rotor mechanism with great diplacement transference and high compression ratio.

  • Patent number: 6776609
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus to improve the utilization of flow and power characteristics of a combustion air fan over the full range of burner operation. More specifically, it is an apparatus and a method of operation that uses a high flue-gas-to-air ratio over most of the boiler operating range to maximize thermal efficiency, but which switches to a lower ratio of flue-gas-to-air, or no flue gas in the limiting case, at the high end of the mass flow range of the burner to minimize the size of the fan housing and fan motor. When applied to current generation ULNBs, fan size can be reduced about 50% and operating power consumption can be reduced by about 50% without adversely affecting NOx emissions.

Abstract: A connector mates to a header having a plurality of header contacts arranged into a plurality of header rows, where the header contacts in each header row include signal contacts and ground contacts in a pre-determined arrangement. The connector is complementary to the header and has a housing and a connector row corresponding to each header row. Each connector row is mounted as a sub-assembly to the housing to form the connector and has a plurality of connector contacts, a row block, and a row shield. Each connector contact of the connector row corresponds to a header contact. The row block securely holds each connector contact in the connector row. The row shield electrically shields the connector contacts of the connector row from an adjacent connector row.

  • Patent number: 6776630
Abstract: A safety socket protective cover includes an outer housing, an inner housing, a sliding cover, an elastic support member and an elastic member. The sliding cover, the elastic support member and the elastic member are disposed at a gap between the outer housing and the inner housing. The sliding cover is provided with wedge members for corresponding with receptacles at the outer housing, wherein each wedge member has a passive inclined plane. The elastic support member has elastic restoring forces and is disposed below the sliding cover. The elastic member is pressed between the sliding cover and the outer housing. When the sliding cover receives abnormal forces, the wedge members block the receptacles at the outer housing due to unequal forces received, thereby preventing alien objects from entering the receptacles.

The load bearing members each comprise upper and lower body halves, which mount to an inner member through which an insulated electrical cable runs. Between the upper and lower body halves and the inner member, an open weave fabric is secured, and the fabric extends onto the electrical cable beyond the load bearing member, so that when stress is applied to the cable, the fabric tends to squeeze down onto the cable, thereby bearing the stress on the cable. The mechanical securing element is preferably a bayonet mount, including an O-ring seal providing a water resistant seal when the connection is made up.
