Abstract: ‘Nicolette’, a Dieffenbachia cultivar. ‘Nicolette’ is characterized by small size elliptic leaves, moderate to good suckering ability, and short petiole and petiole wing clasping the stem to about the leaf base. Leaves are yellow green with a green border having a distinctive fish-bone like pattern of yellow-green extending into the border.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of black walnut tree (Juglans nigra L.) which is a distinctly characterized by extremely rapid growth rate, very strong central stem tendency, and excellent straightness, thereby producing excellent timber qualities. The new variety has poor nut bearing qualities. Nut crops have been non-existent. This new variety of black walnut tree was discovered by the applicant near West Lafayette, Ind. in a black walnut planting of seedling progeny from a previously selected tree for outstanding timber producing potential. This selection has been designated as BW412, a seedling progeny of patented Tippecanoe-1 (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4,954) in records maintained by the applicant on the performance of the selection and grafts made from the selection and will be known henceforth as ‘Beineke 1.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel hybrid plant named ‘Palampur Delight’ and belonging to the family Iridaceae said plant is a cross between two gladiolus varieties, ‘Her Majesty’ and ‘Eurovision’ and is an ornamental plant widely cultivated for beautiful flowers which are of commercial and export value, further said plant is propagated vegetatively by corms and hence can be maintained as a stable genotype.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of the Spray Class is provided that abundantly forms in clusters attractive double irregularly striped pale pink and cream blossoms. The blossoms possess no fragrance. An erect growth habit is exhibited. The foliage is semi-glossy and dark green and contrasts well with the striped blossoms. The disease resistance is very good. Abstract: A new and distinct variety of strawberry plant named ‘Cal Giant 5’ that is a short-day style of plant with a strong ever-bearing tendency, producing runners freely at the nursery while producing high levels of fruit early in the fruiting season, and continuing production through the summer and into the autumn months. ‘Cal Giant 5’ displays very good tolerance to a number of soil-borne, foliar and fruit diseases, and pollinates exceptionally well in both inclement and ideal conditions, retaining size, shape, high gloss, and overall good appearance throughout the entire season.
