Abstract: A restraint system for restraining a person in a vehicle of transportation, includes a safety harness having length adjustable shoulder belts and a buckle for connecting the shoulder belt on a chest-side of a person and a stiff U-shaped shoulder yoke having legs, which are contoured to a torso of the person, and a high collar interconnecting the legs, whereby the shoulder belts are secured by a fastening mechanism behind the collar. The legs of the shoulder yoke and the shoulder belts have confronting sides which are formed, at least partially, with an interacting engagement structure which is configured to increase friction as the shoulder belts move in relation to the legs in longitudinal direction, while inhibiting a displacement of the shoulder belts in relation to the legs in transverse direction.

Abstract: A glove that includes a glove closure apparatus in the form of a closure channel that allows the glove to be more easily closed or compressed without requiring extensive breaking-in procedures. In one embodiment the glove includes one or more closure channels near the palm portion of the front side of the glove. The closure channels are U-shaped closure channels or gaps that allow the glove to be compressed significantly easier than if the material were otherwise in the channel area. A plurality of closure channels may be formed at specific locations on the front side of the glove to reduce the amount of force that is required to close and open the glove. The bib contains neck straps, made of soft structural material, which may be connected or disconnected with a Velcro type fastener. The central pocket within the bib may be accessed from a side portion of the bib and may be sealed with snaps. The pillow is constructed of a very soft structural fabric with sponge like fill material for supporting a baby's head. The baby bottle holder attachment portion of the bib may be located at a central frontal location of the bib and may be made of a Velcro type fastener for securing a baby bottle holder to the bib.

The garment offers the flexibility of placing the external lines anywhere on the patient's upper torso for comfort to the patient. An elastic band around the central body cavity serves as a protective shelf to keep external lines from hanging freely and thus pulling on the port site. An outer layer serves to protect the inner layer, absorbing stresses caused by outer garment movement and providing an additional layer of protection for the port site and external lines.
