  • Patent number: 6830437
Abstract: An assembly that includes a CMC article, and a method of forming the assembly, so as to reduce the likelihood during a transient thermal condition of the CMC article becoming interlocked with the worn shank of a fastener used to secure the article to its support structure. The CMC article has oppositely-disposed first and second surfaces, a hole through the article and intersecting the first and second surfaces so as to define oppositely-disposed first and second openings at the first and second surfaces, respectively, and continuous chamfers along the entirety of the first and second openings. The assembly further includes a support structure adjacent the article, and a fastener received in the hole of the CMC article and securing the CMC article to the support structure. The location of the chamfers at the perimeter of each opening eliminates a relatively sharp edge that could interlock with the worn shank of the fastener during a thermal excursion.

  • Patent number: 6830442
Abstract: A rotary table press having a rotatable die table, an upper punch turret and a lower punch turret is provided with a die table that is compartmentalized from the lubricated guides and punch bars to keep dust away from the parts in the die table compartment. Lubrication to the punch bars and guides in the turret is sealed off from the die table compartment. Further improvements pertain to the prior art difficulty with removal and replacement of dies, and removal of the die table. A hydraulic die removal assembly enables the operator to remove the dies, in situ, from the die table. Also, the improved apparatus enables the maintenance worker to pull out the part of the driving shaft that passes through the center of the turrets and die table, then pins are retracted, and with some related adjustments, that enables the die table to be removed from between the turrets. The procedure basically is reversed to re-install the die table.

The multiple plugs (21 or 31) are clipped on the longitudinal struts (5 or 6), in longitudinal slots (7) arranged therein, in such a way that they can be displaced along the longitudinal slots (7). A set incrementation or a fastening means protruding from the longitudinal struts (5 or 6) may also be provided.

  • Patent number: 6830469
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is provided for mating with a complementary second connector. The assembly includes a housing mounting a terminal module for movement relative to the housing between a projecting position and a retracted position. The terminal module includes a dielectrical module body having a front mating end which projects from the housing and a rear mounting end which mounts the terminal module in the housing for movement between said positions. A plurality of conductive terminals are mounted on the module body and include front flexible contact ends projecting from the front mating end of the module body for engaging appropriate terminal contacts of the complementary second connector. When the second connector is mated with the connector assembly, the contacts of the second connector engage the front flexible contact ends of the terminals and move the terminal module from its projecting position to its retracted position.
