Abstract: A semiconductor device package includes multiple built-up layers of metal sandwiching non-conductive layers. The metal layers have grids of degassing holes arranged in rows and columns. The rows and columns are locatable via a first coordinate system. Signal traces are embedded within the non-conductive layers such that the signal traces are also sandwiched between the metal layers with degassing holes. The signal traces generally run at zero degrees, 45 degrees, and 90 degrees relative to a second coordinate system. The first coordinate system is rotated relative to the second coordinate system to lower impedance variations of different traces. Impedance variations decrease due to the decreased variation in the number of degassing holes passed over or under by a trace. The grid of degassing holes on one metal layer can be offset in two dimensions relative to the degassing holes on another layer.

Abstract: A flexible circuit having improved tear resistance is provided. A flexible circuit, made of polyimide film, includes at least one extension which needs to be folded. To prevent tearing, an annular piece of metal, like an exposed copper pad for example, is placed at the apex of the bend angle. A second metal is then deposited atop the annular piece of metal, thereby reinforcing the annular piece of metal. The reinforced annular piece of metal helps to prevent the flexible circuit from tearing when shearing forces are applied to the extension. Experimental results have shown that the invention provides as much as a 285% increase in tear resistance when compared to prior art flexible circuits.

The through hole may be designed to form a constriction in the solder bump. Electric connection can reliably be established between the printed circuit board and the electronic component since the solder bump is allowed to penetrate through the through hole in the insulated film. When the insulated film is brought away from the printed circuit board, the insulated film serves to tear the solder bump in two pieces at the constriction, so that the electronic component can easily be detached from the printed circuit board.

A path axis for vent holes in the ozone decomposition catalyst filter is inclined to the direction of advancement (a direction toward the exhaust port) of unnecessary light from a lamp from the light source, and the unnecessary light from a lamp is shaded by the ozone decomposition catalyst filter.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a scaffold system having a first deck structure having a first deck structure frame, a deck connected to the frame and including a deck hatch. The system also includes a second deck structure having a second deck structure frame and a deck connected to the frame, the second deck structure positioned at a distance from, and connectable to, the first deck structure. The system further includes a telescoping ladder positioned between the first and second deck structures and connectable to at least one of the first and the second deck structures, the telescoping ladder extendable to a length that corresponds to the distance between the first and the second deck structures. Also disclosed is a resilient deck hatch hinge. Advantageously, a user can ascend the scaffold system from one deck structure to the next while remaining inside the scaffold footprint, promoting safety. The telescoping ladder promotes greater efficiencies from the scaffold supply standpoint.

Abstract: A horizontal support member is provided for use with tube and clamp scaffold systems. The support member includes a bar, preferably a length of scaffold tubing, having a tube half-clamp welded to each end. Attaching each tube half-clamp of the support member to a vertical scaffold tube will result in the support member becoming horizontal. Attaching a plurality of support members of the same fixed length between adjacent vertical scaffold tubes as transoms and ledgers maintains a uniform distance between the vertical scaffold tubes and provides a scaffold system that is quick to assemble. A tube half-clamp including a base with scaffold brace fastening means projecting perpendicular from the base is also provided. Attaching tube half-clamps with brace fastening means to a tube and clamp scaffold assembly permits the use of conventional scaffold braces, such as lengths of metal tubes with flattened ends or angle iron and having apertures at each end, as diagonal braces to stabilize the assembled scaffold.

Abstract: A fin member is installed in an oil accumulating room. The fin member causes lubrication oil to follow rotation of the oil accumulating room so that the lubrication oil can be forcibly rotated. In this manner, a rotational speed difference between the oil accumulating room and the lubrication oil is made small, and an adequate oil supplying pressure is generated by the centrifugal force. As a result, a sufficient quantity of the lubrication oil can be supplied. Therefore, estimation of a supplying oil quantity becomes easy, and accuracy in prediction of the lubrication oil quantity actually used for the bearing lubrication can be improved.
