Publication number: 20060075643Abstract: The invention comprises a device to aid in the removal of the plastic or paper cover from the rolls of coins. This device is made of an elongated form with a groove on the upper surface of the elongated form. Either a cutting point or a boss will project from the base of the groove. The boss and cutting point are connected via a pivot point in the hollow of said elongated form. In the resting stage the boss is pushed into the groove by a spring. In action as that boss is pushed into the hollow by a roll of coins, the cutting point is urged via the pivot point into the groove to score the cover of the coin roll. A second embodiment of the invention is a processor to score the plastic or paper cover of rolls of coins. The processor is an elongated structure with a groove on the top side. Projecting from the base of that groove is a cutting blade which is covered by a mask. Publication number: 20060075646Abstract: The compass system of the present invention utilizes an improved calibration routine in which a processing circuit of the compass recalibrates the compass each time three data points are obtained from a magnetic field sensor that meet predetermined criteria. One such criterion is that the three data points define corners of a triangle that is substantially non-obtuse. When three data points have been obtained that define a triangle meeting this criterion, the processing circuit calculates a center point for a circle upon which all three data points lie by solving the equation x2+y2+Ax+By+C=0 for A, B, and C, using the coordinate values (x,y) for the three data points and defining the center point as (?A/2, ?B/2).Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Inventors: Jeffrey Parks, Thomas Olson, David Slater

Publication number: 20060075673Abstract: An improved paint gun barrel for use in conjunction with available paintball maker guns that fire thin-skinned ball with contents varying from paint to pepper compounds. This improved barrel assembly features three major improvements. The first uses of a non-floating bore bushing that is manufactured using precision and tight tolerances, which provide alignment and consistency. The second is the use of chamfers to center and align the firing path of the gun. These chamfers force said bore bushing against and center it to the breech face of the marker gun while aligning the firing path by centering the muzzle-end subassembly to said bushing. The thin-skinned ball is projected, by a force of gas, down a tightly fitted bushing. This bushing is held in suspension rigidly by the compression between the maker gun itself, and the subassembly members. This compression combined with the use of chamfers force a consistent, rigid and perfect alignment along the paintball's firing path.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 7, 2004Publication date: April 13, 2006Inventor: John Goepfert

Publication number: 20060075682Abstract: The present invention harvests and utilizes fluidized bed drying technology and waste heat streams augmented by other available heat sources to dry feedstock or fuel. This method is useful in many industries, including coal-fired power plants. Coal is dried using the present invention before it goes to coal pulverizers and on to the furnace/boiler arrangement. Coal can be intercepted on current coal feed systems ahead of the pulverizers. Drying fuel, such as coal, is done to improve boiler efficiency and reduce emissions. A two-stage bed utilized in the process first “pre-dries and separates” the feed stream into desirable and undesirable feedstock. Then, it incrementally dries and segregates fluidizable and non-fluidizable material from the product stream. This is all completed in a low-temperature, open-air system. Elevation of fan room air temperature is also accomplished using waste heat, thereby making available to the plant system higher temperature media to enhance the feedstock drying process.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Inventors: Charles Bullinger, Mark Ness, Nenad Sarunac, Edward Levy, Richard Weinstein, Dennis James

Publication number: 20060075683Abstract: An electrolyzer which decomposes distilled water into a new fuel composed of hydrogen, oxygen and their molecular and magnecular bonds, called HHO. The electrolyzer can be used to provide the new combustible gas as an additive to combustion engine fuels or in flame or other generating equipment such as torches and welders. The new combustible gas is comprised of clusters of hydrogen and oxygen atoms structured according to a general formula HmOn wherein m and n have null or positive integer values with the exception that m and n can not be 0 at the same time, and wherein said combustible gas has a varying energy content depending on its use.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Inventors: Dennis Klein, Ruggero Santilli

Publication number: 20060075684Abstract: A hydraulic door drive includes a working piston and an auxiliary separated by a spring in a common piston space. A hydraulic circuit connects a first pressure space on a side of working piston facing away from the spring, and a second working space on a side of the auxiliary piston facing away from the spring. A power and control unit controls the pressure generated in the hydraulic circuit by a motor driven pump based on the position of the working piston, as determined by a position transducer.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2004Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: DORMA GMBH+co., KGInventors: Holger Hansch, Thomas Wildforster

Publication number: 20060075686Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a polishing body, wherein the abrasive in the polishing body are extremely dispersed well, which provides stable polishing performance in the polishing process, and which can effectively reduce the occurrence of scratches even in a case a large quantity of the abrasive are contained. A polishing part constituting the polishing body in the invention is produced obtained by loading predetermined amounts of butadiene, styrene, methyl methacrylate, itaconic acid, acrylic acid, ?-methylstyrenedimer, and t-dodecylmercaptan in an autoclave, making the mixture react for 16 hours at 75° C. to obtain an emulsion wherein a copolymer is dispersed, adjusting this emulsion to pH 8.5, incorporating cerium oxide powder with an average primary particle diameter of 0.3 ?m and stirring to obtain an aqueous dispersion, drying this aqueous dispersion by spreading it thinly across a film, and mold pressing the dried product obtained.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: JSR CORPORATIONInventors: Kou Hasegawa, Hozumi Satou, Osamu Ishikawa, Yukio Hosaka
