  • Patent number: 7028389
Abstract: A fixing device for a printed circuit board (PCB) is comprised of a shaft, an elastic washer and a fixing pillar for fixing the PCB on a shell. This device has the functions of fixing, vibration buffer, and preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI). According to the invention, the shaft penetrates through the PCB and the elastic washer and connects to the fixing pillar on a shell, thereby fixing the PCB onto the shell. The elastic washer is elastic such that it can absorb external vibrations and reduce damages to the PCB. By putting the elastic washer into contact with the PCB, the electromagnetic wave is guided to the shell, thus avoiding the EMI.

  • Patent number: 7028400
Abstract: An integrated circuit substrate having laser-exposed terminals provides a high-density and low cost mounting and interconnect structure for integrated circuits. The laser-exposed terminals can further provide a selective plating feature by using a dielectric layer of the substrate to prevent plating terminal conductors and subsequently exposing the terminals via laser ablation. A metal layer may be coated on one or both sides with a dielectric material, conductive material embedded within the dielectric to form conductive interconnects and then coating over the conductive material with a conformal protective coating. The protectant is then laser-ablated to expose the terminals. A dielectric film having a metal layer laminated on one side may be etched and plated. Terminals are then laser-exposed from the back side of the metal layer exposing unplated terminals.

Abstract: A skating boot adapted to fit around the foot of the user and allowing adequate forward and backward motion of the upper portion relative to the lower portion. The boot is equipped with an inside joint and an outside joint connecting the upper portion and the lower portion together. Front and rear elastic covers complete the shape of the boot and are attached to both the upper portion and the lower portion. The joints comprise and inside and an outside concave sliding disks adapted to slidingly engage with corresponding retainers incorporated within the upper and lower portions. The position of the joints is preferably offset with the inside joint located higher and closer to the front of the boot than the outside joint to accommodate the anatomical structure of the human ankle. The boot has a smooth shape and encases the foot such that all skating maneuvers can be completed with ease while providing adequate ankle support and foot protection.

  • Patent number: 7028422
Abstract: A shoe having the unique feature of a concealed compartment within the shoe to enable valuables to be concealed in a safe and secure manner so that they are concealed while at the same time not interfering with the wearability of the shoe. The concealed compartment is either formed within a two-piece inner sole so that the compartment is formed within the lower portion of the inner sole and the upper portion of the inner sole is removably attached to the lower portion of the inner sole through fastener means so that when the fastener means are closed, the compartment is concealed and when the fastener means are opened, the upper portion of the inner sole can be moved away from the lower portion of the inner sole to expose the compartment. Alternatively, the compartment is formed into a separate compartment layer which is positioned above the outer sole and below the inner sole.
