Abstract: A set of cutlery includes a plurality of superimposable cutlery components, which are adapted to be releasably connected so as to form a transportable unit. In order to facilitate the handling of such cutlery, it is suggested that the cutlery components should be accommodated in a protective housing and that they should be releasably secured to the protective housing by a connection element.

Abstract: A folding knife includes a handle and a blade attached thereto and configured to rotate between an open position and a closed position. A locking element is coupled to the handle, while a pawl is coupled to the blade and configured to engage the locking element as the blade rotates to the closed position, such that the blade is locked in the closed position thereby. Opening pressure on the pawl causes it to release the locking element and also causes the blade to rotate from the closed position toward the open position. The knife blade may include a flicker positioned to extend from a back portion of the handle when the blade is in the closed position. The pawl is coupled to the flicker such that pressure on the flicker causes the pawl to release the locking moves the blade toward the open position. The folding knife may also include an opening assist mechanism.

Abstract: An implement for removing skin comprised of a handle in the form of a tab with generally curved edges and a skin scraping surface being flat with generally curved edges wherein the handle is in a first plane and the skin scraping surface in a second plane and the first plane is perpendicular to the second plane, and a method for removing undesired skin from skin surfaces using the implement.

Abstract: Reciprocating blade system for knives, employed in order to achieve a highly effective cutting action without dragging upon the object to be cut. The invention concerns a reciprocating blade system for knives characterized by a blade with curved or arc-shaped cutting edge capable of oscillating or swinging relative to the support whereto it is fixed by any means enabling said movement such that the cutting edge can operate a reciprocating rolling movement on the object to be cut when the handle is pushed backwards and forwards in the manner of a standard knife. In the embodiment represented in FIG. 1, the blade (1) has an arc-shaped cutting edge (5) and is fixed to a support rod (3) extended by a handle (4), through a pin (2) which enables its oscillation along the arrows (7) and (7bis).

The first bar has a proximal end connected to the bowl and forming a resilient projection having an barbed free end and a distal end forming a hinge with a distal end of the second bar whereby the second bar is rotatable with respect to the first bar between a closed position and an open position to realize a clip for clamping for example a food storage bag. The second bar has a proximal end forming an extended flange releasably engageable with the barbed end of the projection of the first bar to releasably secure the second bar to the first bar in the closed position.

Abstract: A multifunctional ladle includes a spoon-body which has a handle and a perforated spoon which mounts on the spoon-body by using a link rod, a spring and a screw. By pushing or pulling a switch on the handle which connects with the link rod, the perforated spoon can be detached from the spoon-body and in that case the multifunctional ladle can be used as a strainer, or the perforated spoon can be combined with the spoon-body and in that case the multifunctional ladle can be used as a spoon.

Abstract: A rotary tool for weed control having a shaft adapted to penetrate the earth at a tip end and adapted to be rotatably driven by a rotary drive at a drive end, and a blade extending from and rotatable with the shaft near the tip end. The rotary tool is inserted into the centre of a weed and rotated by the rotary drive causing the rotary tool to augur into the weed and downward to its roots. Continued rotation of the rotary tool causes the blade to chop and grind the root.

Abstract: An air jet containing blade guide for stabilizing a band saw blade or a circular saw blade of a saw mill and guide blocks or inserts for a saw blade guide are disclosed. The inserts can be removably fastened to a blade guide by means of cap screws preferably containing a hex socket for tightening and loosening the screws with a hex wrench. Cap screw holes formed in the inserts contain recessed countersinks for recessing the heads of the cap screws below a blade opposing surface of the inserts when disposed in an operative position of a blade guide in a saw mill. The inserts can be constructed of brass or aluminum bronze which is softer than the blade being stabilized thereby to avoid undue blade damage but which are hard enough to provide good wearability and heat dissipation as against periodic blade impacts.

Abstract: The present invention is a method with a 3-dimensional measuring apparatus for determining vehicle suspension parameters, which include roll center, scrub radius, etc. The apparatus measures the upper and lower control arm pivot locations, which include coordinate planes X, Y, and Z, where X is longitudinal distance from front axle centerline, Y is height above ground, and Z is distance from vehicle centerline. Suspension measurements are provided by at least one lower support (23a), at least one vertical member (24a), at least one horizontal arm (26a), and at least one indicator support (22) located at a ground plane in proximity to a tire's tread. Indicator (BC?) on indicator support (22) indicates at least one lower steering pivot location determined by horizontal arm (26a). Wheel pivot locator (21) connected to indicator support (22) locates kingpin trail (C?) and provides a way for measuring the scrub radius between kingpin trail (C?) and tire centerline (E).

Abstract: Linear measuring apparatus includes: a guide member extending along a work platform; a drive carriage for movement along the guide member; and a read head, coupled to the drive carriage, for generating a digital number representative of distance corresponding to the movement. Angular measuring apparatus includes: a structural member having an encoder PCB extending in an arc about an axis of rotation through the structural member; a rotor arm for rotating about the axis of rotation, the rotor arm having a contact element that contacts the encoder PCB during the rotation; and a microprocessor electronically coupled with the encoder PCB and configured to determine an angle based upon the rotation.

Abstract: A multi-task protractor apparatus having the capabilities of a rotating protractor, adjustable triangle, ruler, miniature leveler, framing square and roof angle finder is disclosed. The multi-task protractor accurately measures angles and slopes and provides two straight edges for constructing angles and triangles.

Abstract: A workpiece size alignment device includes a rail set including a plurality of guide rails each having a top face formed with an elongated guide channel extended longitudinally, and a ruler set mounted on the rail set and including a plurality of rulers each removably mounted in the guide channel of a respective one of the guide rails. Thus, the workpiece size alignment device has multiple rulers having different units for use and replacement, so that the operator can select the rulers having different units according to different working requirements, thereby greatly facilitating the operator working the workpiece.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method for vaporizing oil that involves applying heat to an oil-impregnated medium such that the oil therein is vaporized. In one embodiment the apparatus includes a chamber that is constructed to house used oil filters. In this embodiment, heat is applied to the outer surface of the chamber until substantially all the oil therein is vaporized. The resulting oil vapors can be condensed and/or incinerated.

Abstract: Disclosed is a far infrared ray hair dryer consists of a housing, a hand grip, an air inlet and a wind outlet respectively at one side. A fan motor equipped in the housing is for blowing the air, and a porous ceramic honey comb heater installed in the housing is for radiating far infrared ray when heated and together with hot or cold wind to apply on the user's hair.

Abstract: A system for curing printing plates with controlled radiant energy sources. A conveyor moves a printing plate through a chamber having energy radiators above and below the conveyor. Power to the radiators is controlled for each radiator or to groups of radiators defining radiation zones. Curing time may be controlled by adjusting power to the radiators and adjusting the conveyor speed. Sensors detect a plate as it enters and exits the chamber. Heat sensors may detect chamber or plate temperatures. A color sensor may detect plate color as an indicator of degree of curing. A computer system stores curing scenarios and uses the sensor signals and operator inputs to control power to the radiators and conveyor speed to provide uniform curing of the plate.

The clothes drying machine includes a suction duct for guiding air to be introduced to a rotary drum; a burner for heating air introduced into the suction duct; and a temperature sensor installed in the suction duct for controlling the operation of the burner, wherein the temperature sensor is installed at a position separated from an inlet of the suction duct by a designated distance, and the ratio of the distance to a diameter of the inlet of the suction duct is 0.9˜1.

The shoe includes a shoe base for supporting a foot, uppers (straps) for securing the foot to said shoe base, which is achieved by provision of a three part clip and loop design. The base of the shoe is outfitted with a integrated loop, where the specially designed “clip” would then attach. All straps are made with integrated loops at the ends. The loops are then attached to the “clip” by sliding each end through the integral opening in the “clip,” creating a finished product.

In rainy or snowy circumstances, invaded water may immerse the leather shoes or sneakers, add a waterproof underlining to slip on can keep foot dry and clean. Simple and cost-effective construction of the underlining is patched together an inner lining, then added a middle sole to form an underlining as a footwear. The material of the middle sole 1 is selected from the group consisting of PU, EVA, PVC, TPR, and TPU. Inner lining 2 is sandwiched the thick PU film, foam and full mesh lining to shield the footwear from moisture immersion. A waterproof sealing tape or adhesive is used to seal the slots between the middle sole and the inner lining.

Abstract: A framing system suitable for framing artwork, drawings, pictures and the like and mounting the framed work on a surface includes at least one frame member that cooperates with a plurality of mounting elements to surround the work with the frame member(s) and mount the resultant framed work to a mounting surface. The frame member(s) include a plurality of frame member portions that will be oriented toward the mounting surface when the framed work is mounted onto the surface. Each mounting element comprises magnetic material and adhesive material. The magnetic material and corresponding frame member portion provides magnetic coupling between the mounting element and the corresponding frame member portion that is used to releasably affix the frame members and the work to the mounting elements. The adhesive material is used to mount the resulting framed work to the surface by an adhesive bond between the mounting elements and the surface.

Abstract: Several different types of spring-loaded holders. The first type is a cam-based holder which can activate a cam action for holding a stack of art sheets. The second type is a toggle holder which can be toggled between a closed position for holding a stack of art sheets and an open position for loading and unloading said art sheets. Such holders can be installed in a picture frame for holding a stack of art sheets of varied thicknesses. These holders can be further modified and used in a variety of holding boards including fun boards, bulletin boards and poster boards. A one-piece injection molded stretcher with grid will increase the strength of the stretcher and allow thinner stretcher to be used. It is proposed that a framed art ensemble be sold in a retail store. Each ensemble comprises a frame with the present holders and a plurality of matching art sheets of standard sizes.

Abstract: The invention concerns an adjustable recoil pad for a small arm, in particular, a rifle, with a base plate that can be adjustably affixed to a stock part of the small arm, a bottom plate which is adjustably mounted on the base plate, and at least one end part that can be affixed to the bottom plate. A simplified adjustment with a large number of adjustment possibilities is made possible in that the bottom plate is arranged so it can swivel about a transverse axis on a connecting piece, which is displaceably guided via guide elements on the base plate, and can be affixed in a desired position by at least one retaining screw.

Abstract: An animal repellant system which includes triggering means for detecting the presence of animals within a particular area and generating signals indicative thereof. The animal repellant system includes a controller operable to receive the signals generated by the triggering means and to issue command signals responsive thereto, and deterrent means for effectuating a repellant component of the animal repellant system in response to the command signals issued by the controller, thereby dissuading the animals from entering the particular area.

Fish scent or chum material, located in main cavity 1, may be rapidly or slowly dissolved in the water, depending on the speed of rotation, the size of holes 6, and the type of scent material used, as dispenser 20 is pulled through the water or as the force of the water, for example, without limitation, currents or waves, react against fin units 11A and 11B, causing dispenser 20 to spin or rotate.

Abstract: A fishing tackle component has a portion useable to receive a noise making mechanism, which can be a depression. The noise making mechanism is a rattle mechanism, including a capsule containing at least two rattle elements. The rattle elements may have a minimum curvature that is greater than a maximum curvature of the capsule, allowing the rattle elements to move freely inside the capsule. Consequently, the capsule does not have acute angles or areas of extreme curvature in which the rattle elements can lodge disabling the noise. The rattle mechanism is mounted to the receiving portion, such as in the depression. As the lure is moved through the water, the rattle mechanism at least sporadically produces a noise regardless of the speed or trajectory of the tackle component in the water.

Abstract: A vehicle fuel composition comprises: a light or low-carbon hydrocarbon or pentane fraction; a non-lead anti-knocking agent including methyl tert-butyl ether, tert-amyl methyl ether, anhydrous methanol and anhydrous ethanol; a fluorocarbon cation surfactant and/or a fluorocarbon non-ionic surfactant; which are thoroughly blended to obtain a motor fuel having a research octane number of more than ninety for enhancing anti-knocking property and also for minimizing carbon accumulation in a combustion engine system.
