The sensor measures the frequency of the alternating electrical signal applied to the sound transducer with which a standing sound wave occurs in the liquid container.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2006Publication date: January 25, 2007Inventor: Andre Moebius

Publication number: 20070017639Abstract: A device such as an MEMS device is fabricated by cutting a laminate of a semiconductor substrate and a glass substrate. Grooves are formed in the glass substrate, and the semiconductor substrate and the glass substrate are laminated together such that the groove faces the semiconductor substrate. The laminated substrates are irradiated with a laser along the groove from the side of the glass substrate. In this way, the laminate is cut into elements.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2006Publication date: January 25, 2007Applicant: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Toshikazu Furui, Naohisa Matsushita

Publication number: 20070017641Abstract: A handle (22) is moved between a first position (FIG. 1) and a second position (FIG. 2). When the handle (22) is in its first position a mechanism between the handle (22) and an upper platen (20) raises the upper platen into a raised position. In this position it is above a work piece mounting board (26) which in turn is spaced above a lower platen (18). Movement of the handle from its first position (FIG. 1) into its second position (FIG. 2) causes the mechanism to move the upper platen (20) downwardly against a work piece on the work piece supporting board (26). As the upper platen (20) moves downwardly, it moves the work piece and the work piece supporting board (26) downwardly against the lower platen (18). An adjustment mechanism (122, 86, 92) provides for a way of compensating for different thicknesses in the work piece that is on the work piece supporting board (26). A four-bar linkage (50, 52, 54, 56) mounts the work piece supporting board (26) for vertical up and down movement.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2006Publication date: January 25, 2007Inventor: Dan Kenney

Publication number: 20070017642Abstract: A vehicle system is disclosed that includes a vehicle lamp assembly including a plurality of LEDs that emit white light so as to function as an illuminator light. The lamp assembly also may include a plurality of LEDs that emit colored light to function as a signal light. The lamp assembly may include a camera. The lamp assembly may serve as a CHMSL or as a tail light. The system also includes a controller that rapidly pulses the LEDs at a rate that is imperceivable by the human eye. The pulsing intervals of the LEDs may be related to the readout intervals of the camera sensor array. In this manner, the LEDs may be pulsed on during camera readout to increase the illumination while the camera is capturing an image, or may be pulsed off during camera readout to prevent feedback glare from interfering with image capture by the camera.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2006Publication date: January 25, 2007Inventors: Frederick Bauer, Lois Bauer, John Roberts, Joseph Stam

Publication number: 20070017644Abstract: The present invention discloses a window blind within a multi-pane window. A window blind disposed between first and second panes includes a plurality of slats. Raise/lower and tilt lines are coupled to the slats. A carriage housing is disposed between the panes proximate a side edge thereof. A tilt strip is disposed within the carriage housing and coupled to the tilt lines. An inner carriage disposed within the carriage housing includes an upper portion coupled to the raise/lower lines to actuate raising and lowering the slats, and a lower portion coupled to the tilt strip to actuate tilting the slats. An external carriage is adjacent the exterior surface and aligned with and magnetically coupled to the inner carriage. The external carriage is linearly movable to move the inner carriage. A method of adjusting a window blind within a multi-pane window is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2006Publication date: January 25, 2007Inventor: David Berger

Publication number: 20070017645Abstract: A window covering has a plurality of shade elements, each having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The shade elements are positioned sequentially below a headrail, and each shade element is made of a window covering material that can be rolled about the first longitudinal edge. A first rail extends from the headrail past the first longitudinal edge of each shade element and is connected to lowermost shade element or the bottom rail. A second rail extends from the headrail and is attached to lowermost shade element or the bottom rail and to the second longitudinal edge of each shade element. Rungs extend between the first rail and the second rail such that there is one rung below and corresponding to each shade element. The first longitudinal edge of each shade element rests upon a corresponding rung when the window covering is in a closed position. A control mechanism is connected to the first rail and is capable of moving the first rail relative to the second rail.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2005Publication date: January 25, 2007Inventors: David Pon, Yu-Che Wen, Tung Chen
