Abstract: A wide dynamic range vector data raster display of a waveform image is obtained by using a small matrix of pixels from a source frame buffer containing waveform image data to calculate a value for each pixel on a target display. Any of several algorithms may be used for this transform function, such as the unsharp masking (USM) algorithm used in digital photography. This results in increasing the dynamic range of the displayed waveform image over simple pixel-by-pixel intensity mapping.

Abstract: A discharge valve for toilet tanks comprising a flexible ringed hose held by a couple covering a center hole of the toilet tank and a handle connecting to a wire wrapping around an upper part of the flexible ringed hose. The wire connected to the handle bends and submerge the flexible ringed hose into the liquid inside the toilet tank when the handle pulls the wire upwards thereby allowing liquid to enter the flexible ringed hose to flush the toilet bowl. The liquid stops flowing to the toilet bowl when the flexible ringed hose goes back to its original vertical position when the pull on the wire is released and when the level of the liquid inside the tank is below the top opening of the flexible ringed hose.

Pivotally attached to the leg means is a rolling means consisting of a caster and foot arrangement. During normal operation, the foot is firmly engaged with the floor surface.

The ramp and planar platform fold for easy storage outside the steps or inside the truck cab.

A mount is provided for fixedly coupling the baggage handling unit to the rotunda about a point opposite an aircraft engaging portion of the existing passenger boarding bridge, such that the baggage handling unit and the rotunda are structurally attached.

In another aspect, the energy absorption material is a liquid which is retained within the pivot holder by a releasable plug which is separable from the orifice under a predetermined impact pressure.
