Abstract: A disposable dribble bib for babies comprises a shaped panel of non-woven cotton material. The bib has an outer face and an inner face each of which has a hairy surface formed by cotton fibres which when the bib is placed on a garment will attach and hold the bib on the garment. The bib is simple and cheap to manufacture and is double sided, that is it can be used either way round with either the outer face or inner face engaging the garment. A neck-receiving recess is provided at an upper end of the bib.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for forming untanned skin portions on the body of a person during a sun tan process. In one advantageous embodiment of the method of the invention, a person wears a sun tan garment that forms the untanned skin portions and suntan lines on the body of the person in accordance with a pattern based on a design garment. The pattern of the sun tan garment forms the untanned skin portions and suntan lines on the body of the person so that the untanned skin portions and suntan lines are not visible when the person later wears the design garment.

Abstract: A body form-fitting rainwear is provided. In the rainwear, a first waterproof layer comprises a polymer material treated with an oleophobic composition to form an air permeable polymer material. The first waterproof layer couples to a first fabric layer. The first fabric layer faces the body and couples to a first side of the first waterproof layer. The first waterproof layer and first fabric layer are formable about a human body and are constructed and arranged to accommodate one or more human appendages. The rainwear may for example form a shirt, pant, underwear, long underwear, hat, hood or one-piece body suit.

Abstract: A medical support assembly garment dimensionally adapted to receive a torso of a patient. The garment includes a vest portion including a back portion, and a left front portion and a right front portion each extending from opposite ends of the back portion and each comprising an inner surface facing the torso, and at least one pocket attached to the inner surface of at least one of the left and the right portions, wherein the pocket is adapted to support at least one container for storing bodily fluid outputted from the patient.

Abstract: An air circulation system is provided that is fittable to a protective helmet. The system includes an external manifold, a removable intake duct, and a removable exhaust duct. The manifold is mountable to an external surface of a protective shell of a helmet and defines an exhaust passage external of the shell having at least one orifice communicable with an interior crown region of the shell and an intake passage communicable with a bottom region of the shell near a wearer's mouth and nose. The removable intake duct is connected to a remote positive pressure source at one end and connected to the external intake passage on the other end. The removable exhaust duct is connected to a remote source of negative pressure at one end and connected to the external exhaust passage of the external manifold on the other end.

Abstract: The hat wig is an article of headwear, such as a hat, cap or the like, with hair extending from the interior of the headwear so that the appearance of a hat placed on top of a full head of hair is created when the hat wig is worn. The top ends of the hair are secured in a soft fabric band that is peripherally disposed about at least a portion of the base of the interior of the headwear and permanently fastened thereto in a manner that conceals the band from outside viewing and allows the hair to freely depend downward from the band. The hat wig is highly customizable and can be adapted to several types of headwear, including a hat of the wearer's choosing. Moreover, real or synthetic hair of various styles, lengths, and types can be used to suit the taste of the wearer.

A mounting slot is defined in the jaw guard. The ventilation module is mounted in the mounting slot. The ventilation module has a housing, a fan and a switch group. Switches in the switch group control the fan to draw air into the helmet or expel air out of the helmet. In addition, a lighting module is added to the helmet to provide light when required.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pair of protective eyewear that includes a frame having a brow portion with a top surface and a bottom portion with a bottom surface. The frame is configured and arranged to be secured against a wearer's face wherein the brow portion conforms to the wearer's forehead and the bottom portion conforms around the wearer's nose and cheekbones. A lens is interfittingly engaged with the frame. The frame and the lens define an interior portion of the eyewear and an exterior portion of the eyewear. The frame includes a number of vent structures, and each of the vent structures has a vent opening. The vent opening is in fluid connection between the interior portion and the exterior portion of the eyewear. The protective eyewear includes at least one vent accessory configured and arranged to releasably couple to at least one of the vent structures.

A main body houses a tray slidingly suspended that retains small particles food waste via fine bottom perforations. The tray has a top opening larger than a drain diameter of an existing bus bowl in a kitchen. A plastic clip disc pairs with clip top members to clip the main body onto bus bowl flanges. The clip disc drain adapter adjusts and adapts the unit's outlet to different drain diameters of existing bus bowl fixtures. The clip disc and a top clip member constitute a clip assembly for adjustably clipping the unit main body to the given drain flange easily but securely. Optionally, a four-legged riser replaces the clip assembly to attach to the unit main body top for bus bowls with a flangeless standard drain fitting.

Abstract: A control system for a flush toilet includes a water delivery device for delivering a source of flush water to a bowl. The control system includes a controller and a user interface. The controller is operative to control the toilet through a flush sequence in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a predetermined amount of water to the bowl. In the second mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a user adjustable amount of water to the bowl. The user interface is in communication with the controller for selecting between the first mode and the second mode. Where the toilet is a macerator toilet, the controller monitors current draw unit when the current draw satisfies a predetermined current condition. The controller may operate in a normal mode and a lockout mode.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of operating a flushing system for efficient waste removal from and cleaning of a toilet bowl. In the disclosed method, a flushing system is provided that includes a pumping means having each of a rim diverter means and a jet diverter means in fluid communication therewith; a sensor means; a control means; a switching means; and a spray means. Activation of the switching means initiates at least a single flush schedule that comprises the steps of initiating operation of the pumping means; opening the jet diverter means for delivery of water to a jet delivery means in fluid communication therewith; subsequently closing the jet diverter means and simultaneously opening the rim diverter means; and directing water from the rim diverter means to a toilet rim in fluid communication therewith for terminal delivery of the water through the spray means.

The tray of the main body retains small particles food waste via fine bottom perforations. The tray has a large top opening and a centrally opened adaptor plate to redefine the top opening to fit with the drainage means for the existing sinks in the kitchen.

Abstract: An apparatus that transforms the surface of a commonly used operating table into a dedicated platform configured to support a patient in a prone position (lying facedown) for back surgery or other medical procedures. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a frame configured to rest on top of the surface of an operating table and support members attached to the frame, configured to support the patient in a prone position. Thus, the apparatus converts commonly used operating tables into a dedicated back surgery. The apparatus also eliminates the use of various improvised support structures (such as pillows, bedding, rolls, padding) stuffed underneath the patient to provide support while in a prone position on the operating table.

Abstract: An automated hammock device and system is disclosed. This automated hammock device and system is designed and configured for supporting a hammock bed frame in a suspended configuration above the ground while allowing the accommodation of at least one motor and a plurality of arms for effectuating a continuous hands free swinging or rocking motion to the user lying in the hammock bed. An automated swinging device and a method of using this automated swinging device are also disclosed. This automated swinging device is designed and configured for coupling with an object in a suspended configuration above the ground and providing a driving force to allow the object for effectuating a continuous hands free swinging or rocking motion without effort by the user.

Abstract: A movable bed with an independent wheel suspension system is disclosed. The movable bed of the invention comprises a plurality of wheel assemblies. A wheel assembly is attached to each of the four corners of a bed frame of the movable bed. Each wheel assembly comprises a bed wheel and a shock absorber. The shock absorber comprises a first end attached to the bed frame and a second end attached to a bed wheel. In one advantageous embodiment the shock absorber comprises a robust shock absorber of a type employed on an off-road bicycle. A pivotal wheel assembly is also disclosed that may be pivoted downwardly and locked into place with respect to the bed frame to provide the additional support for the bed frame.

It is also useful when airway patency is compromised due to abnormal neuromuscular tone, redundant soft tissue or an increase in upper airway adipose tissue. The ARM Headrest includes lateral extensions which house the foam wedges to provide the mechanical jaw thrust maneuver when positioned under the mandibular angles. When strapped under the chin to perform the jaw thrust/chin lift maneuver, it is very effective in opening up the airway in a large population of patients who obstruct during sleep, sedation, etc. It also has a head and neck support having a partially concave and partially convex surface, respectively.

Abstract: Treated articles with improved water sheeting and soap scum repellency result from forming hydroscopic films on the surfaces of hydrophobic polymeric substrates treated with compositions, kits and methods that employ water-soluble or water-dispersible copolymers having: (i) a first monomer that is capable of forming a cationic charge on protonation; (ii) a second monomer that is acidic and that is capable of forming an anionic charge in the compositions; (iii) optionally, a third monomer having an uncharged hydrophilic group; and (iv) optionally, a fourth monomer that is hydrophobic. Treated articles exhibit a Water Sheeting Index of greater than 6. Treated articles may further exhibit improved soap scum repellency behavior compared to untreated articles.
