The tube is cut to length, and positioned in a die cavity which corresponds to the shape of the finished axle beam. Pressurized fluid is communicated with the interior of the tube to inelastically deform the same into conformance with the shape of the die cavity. The formed tube is removed from the die and selectively heat treated at the areas of high stress during use to define the finished axle beam.

Abstract: A safety razor has a handle and a razor cartridge. The head portion of the handle has a biasing member and connecting structure to pivotally connect to mating connection structure of the cartridge. The cartridge can pivot about a pivot axis. A cam surface of the biasing member interacts with a cam surface of the housing of the cartridge to permit resilient movement of the cartridge away from an at-rest position in response to forces encountered during shaving. The connecting structure of the handle has first and second shell bearings which each have a fin at the inner end. The fin extends towards the pivot axis and a least a portion of the tip of the fin is closer to the pivot axis than any portion of the cam surface of the biasing member. The fin resists rotation of the cartridge about an axis perpendicular to the pivot axis.

The ring gears are parallel to one another and are individually driven. The pinions are rotatably mounted to a side surface of one ring gear and engage a sun gear assembled to the other ring gear. When the ring gears rotate at the same speed, the pinions and blades do not revolve around their respective axes, and when one ring gear rotates at a speed different from the other ring gear, the pinions and blades revolve about their respective axes, intercepting and cutting a tube passing through an axial passage through the ring gears.

In a preferred embodiment, the cutting tool attachment comprises a bracket member that removably attaches to the base of a vibrating sander. A cutting blade, particularly one configured for the type of work material to be cut, removably attaches to the bracket member. In a preferred embodiment, an extension member interconnects the cutting blade and bracket member. The bracket member attaches by use of screws, sliding engagement with a plurality of side engaging members, clamping mechanisms and/or by use of a variety of other attaching mechanisms. Once attached, the vibrating tool vibrates the bracket member, which vibrates the cutting blade so as to cut the work material faster and with less effort.
