Abstract: A garment with a load attachment system. The garment has a plurality of spaced apart rows of loop members. The attachment device includes a clip member with an arm having fingers at opposite ends thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the fingers and arm define generally oppositely opening slots. A load is removably mounted to the garment with the attachment device by a loop member being received in a respective slot.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides a patient gown, comprising a robe having a main opening at a back of the robe. At least one side of a front upper portion of the robe is releasably attachable to a corresponding side of a back upper portion of the robe to provide frontal access through a chest portion of the robe. Further, at least one fastener may be located near a shoulder portion of the robe for attaching and detaching the front upper portion to the corresponding back upper portion.

Abstract: Goggles are provided having a lens cup with a seal portion extending around its peripheral rear edge. The seal portion is adapted to seal against the face of a wearer of the goggles via a face contact surface. The face contact surface is preformed to follow substantially the contours of the wearer's face around the wearer's eye socket, so that little force between the seal portion and the wearer's face is required to achieve sealing. The face contact surface may be preformed in accordance with the average wearer from a demographic group or preformed bespoke for the wearer.

Abstract: A dazzle protection unit (1) for a portable dazzle protection device that includes an optical dazzle protection filter (3) and at least one sensor (5) for the sensing of incident light and for controlling the translucency of the filter (3). In doing so, the dazzle protection unit (1) includes a light capturing element (4), which captures incident light on a light capturing surface area (12) and conducts it to the at least one sensor (5). The light capturing element (4) preferably captures the light from several areas located at a distance from one another on a front side of the dazzle protection unit (1). Abstract: An integrated ensemble for personal protection and comfort. The integrated ensemble may generally include one or more multifunctional layers. Each layer may include functionality directed to provision of specific types of protection and/or personal comfort. A liner may be generally capable of providing immersion protection, cooling, and cold weather protection. A shell may be designed for wear in cooperation with the liner. The shell may be capable of providing protection against flame, acceleration, and other environmental factors, as well as providing cooling and gear carriage. The disclosed integrated ensembles are generally low-bulk to facilitate movement.

Abstract: This subject apparatus is an odor dispersal unit structured primarily for toilets to function to capture odors emanating from the vicinity of the toilet bowl for purposes of eliminating obnoxious odors during and after usage, comprising in general an intake member for drawing gaseous odors from the toilet area with means to disperse such odors outside the room in which such toilet is located.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a toilet odor removal system are disclosed. In general, the toilet odor removal system includes a sealed seat that forms a substantial seal between the user and the rim of the toilet bowl. A gas removal system is in fluid communication with the bowl and operates to substantially remove any offensive odors in the bowl. The offensive odors may be removed from the bowl through any suitable solution, including an integrated conduit in the toilet, an intake ring, or through an annulus and orifices in a gasket of the sealed seat. An advantage of at least one embodiment is a reduction in offensive odors escaping the toilet.

Abstract: A toilet cleanser dispenser system includes a compartment for containing a cleansing agent, a housing at least partially enclosing the compartment, and a refill tube. A first portion of refill water is directed from a fill valve directly to an overflow tube through the refill tube, while a second portion of refill water is diverted to the housing. The second portion of refill water comes in contact with the cleansing agent forming a cleanser solution. The cleansing solution is then directed from the housing to the refill tube. The cleansing agent compartment is isolated with at least one water trap.

Abstract: The Toilet Seat Handle is a round cylinder 6 inches long and ¾ inches in diameter with one end rounded off. The rounded end will be visible once the handle has been attached to the toilet seat. (see FIG. 3). The opposite end will have the inside portion of the cylinder flattened so that it will apply to the underside of the toilet seat. The flattened area of the cylinder will measure 2½ inches. (see FIG. 2) The self sticking adhesive will hold the flattened part of the toilet seat handle to the underside of the toilet seat. The flattened area will fit snuggly against the outside edge of the toilet seat. The cylinder part will be sticking out on the side of the toilet creating an instant toilet seat handle.

Abstract: A bathing system with a molded shell has hollows in the shell. A canister installed in each hollow with jets mounted upon the front jet plate of the canister. The canister is of simple construction that is mounted in a hollow and is removable and interchangeable for easy upgrading and repair of the bathing system.

Abstract: A garbage disposer replacement unit for straining food waste comprises a drainage means fitted to one or more sink for transporting food wastes to a sewer system and a main interceptor connected in series with the drainage means. The main interceptor is fluidly connected in series to the sink drain outlet through an adapter funnel and includes a convex reservoir and a number of legs for supporting the main interceptor above a floor. Two opposite side outlets are positioned at the lowermost level of the convex reservoir. A tray is slidingly suspended within the main interceptor above the reservoir, wherein the tray has fine bottom perforations for retaining small particles of food waste. A draining basket is removably positioned under the side outlets for catching escaped wastes bypassing the main interceptor. The interceptor has a top opening over which the adaptor funnel is placed concentrically to redefine the top opening to fit with the existing sink drainage means.

The bottom panel and side wall are foldable and unfoldable between an in-use configuration with the side wall extending up from the perimeter and surrounding the sleeping surface and a folded configuration with the side wall lying generally parallel with and adjacent the bottom panel. A vent through a portion of the side wall positioned at a level near the sleeping surface, the vent permitting air to pass freely through the side wall.

The upper portion of the construction is fitted with an adjustable elastic drawstring and secured by means of a generic toggle lock to adjust the opening size for user as a changing cover-up garment. With the adjustable drawstring fully extended, and said garment in a flat position it may be used to recline and for drying the hair or skin of the user.

In addition, once elevated and the side frames removed, with the aid of a movable back that forms a part of the examination table, the back of the wheelchair can be reclined or positioned in various positions to facilitate examination and procedures.

The first leg and the second leg define a gap between them to allow the legs to be spread apart for toileting or cleaning of the patient, or deflated and rolled upon themselves so as to provide easy access to the patient during clinical procedures. A method is provided for positioning a patient with the inflatable mattress.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a mattress system and a method to decrease pressure applied to a patient. The mattress system has an analyzer that receives the measurements regarding the geometry of the mattress and the pressure of the bladders within the mattress. With that data, the analyzer compares those measurements and transmits a pressure signal to a pressure provider device. In response to the pressure signal, the pressure provider device alters and/or maintains the pressure in the bladders to decrease the chance of bottoming out and/or decrease the pressure applied to the patient.

Abstract: A device for applying stain formulation to a garment or article of clothing while it is being worn is disclosed. The device includes a reservoir with a valve assembly for dispensing an effective stain removal formulation directly to the stain, spot or mark. The device also includes a shell accommodating absorbent pads. After the stain removal formulation is applied, an absorbent pad is pressed and/or rubbed on the stain to lift and remove the stain and to absorb or wick excess fluid thereby reducing the amount of time the resulting wet spot takes to dry. Effective stain removing formulations for on-the-go use are also disclosed.

Abstract: An adjustable hose clip is provided for use with a pool cleaner debris bag, including a first member having a retaining arm and a second member having a retaining arm. The hose clip also includes means for connecting the hose clip to a pool cleaner debris bag and resilient means for resiliently biasing the retaining arms towards each other such that at least a portion of a pool hose can be retained between the retaining arms. In one example, the resilient means is adapted to automatically adjust the distance between the retaining arms to accommodate various pool hoses having various diameters within the range of a minimum diameter to a maximum diameter at least 50% larger than the minimum diameter. The said rod's rolls press against the surface of the socket causing rotation of the socket with a sponge mop until reaching parallel to the tubular stick's axis position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a windshield wiper device, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a securing part (10), which is used to secure a wiper arm to a wiper shaft (13). Manufacturing tolerances in the windshield wiper device, in particular in the wiper arms and the vehicle body, lead to a deviation of the actual position of the wiper arm from its target position. The aim of the invention is balancing the manufacturing tolerances in the region of the wiper arm. According to the invention, the position of the wiper arm can be adjusted in a transversal manner in relation to the wiper shaft (13) by means of the securing part (10).

Abstract: The invention relates to a windshield wiper device, in particular for a motor vehicle, with at least one fastening part (10) for fastening a wiper arm on a wiper shaft (11). The windshield wiper device is located in an area where pedestrians often collide in an impact with a vehicle. As a result, the components of the windshield wiper device frequently represent a great risk of injury for pedestrians. The object of the invention is improving the windshield wiper device to the effect that the risk of injury to the pedestrian is reduced in an impact with the vehicle. According to the invention, the fastening part (10) is provided with a predetermined breaking point (12) and can therefore detach from the wiper shaft (11) in the case of an impact on at least one fastening part (10).

The device includes a wringing device, embodied as a squeezing device with a press roller and a counter-surface. The press roller and the counter-surface may be relatively adjusted by a single adjuster either manually or automatically and set to defined selectable separation values.
