  • Patent number: 7322786
Abstract: A mobile loader is driven to a dockside location underlying the spreader bar of a marine terminal crane. A delivery vehicle such as a train or a truck is driven into the loader at such dockside location so that containers maybe transferred between the delivery vehicle and a platform located within the loader in lateral adjacency to the delivery vehicle. Motorized devices are provided for respectively transferring containers between the delivery vehicle and the platform, aligning the platform below the spreader bar, elevating the platform toward the overlying crane spreader bar to reduce its required descent for attachment to the container and aligning the crane spreader bar as it descends onto a container.

  • Patent number: 7322806
Abstract: A thermostat for sensing an unduly high temperature in a sealed compressor, which is a scroll compressor in the disclosed embodiment, extends through the housing of the sealed compressor into the body of a non-orbiting scroll. Since the thermostat extends through the housing, the wires need not be sealed as they extend from the housing. Still, the thermostat is positioned close to the compression chambers and at a location that will quickly heat when undesirable conditions exist within the sealed compressor. In this manner, the present invention is able to rapidly respond to an undesirable situation to allow a system control to have an indication of the undesired condition.

  • Patent number: 7322813
Abstract: Presented is a method of manufacturing opened at both ends thin walled elastomeric sleeves of complex shapes. The proposed technique employs standard dip molding process but with modifications which enable producing of opened at both ends sleeves right from the drying stage and eliminates the necessity of cutting lower dipped ends subsequently to the dipping process. This technique allows sleeves to be manufactured with rolled beads at both ends. The main benefit of the present invention is a possibility of manufacturing sleeves on existing standard automated and semi-automated dip molding lines, traditionally used for manufacturing elastomeric gloves and condoms. The gist of the invention is a composition of a dipping former with a bottom coated by hydrophobic material such as PTFE. This composition impedes buildup of coagulant and coagulum on the bottom. The loose coagulum layer is removed by means of washing off with directed and appropriately timed sprinklers.

Image data about the space available for the planned restoration, orientation of dental implants or abutments and aesthetic contour and occlusion of the prosthesis are all integrated into a virtual three-dimensional model of the prosthesis that can be sent to the clinician or laboratory to validate design intent and to manufacture the prosthesis. The virtual model is used by either a conventional rapid prototyping machine to produce a castable pattern or a number controlled mill to machine the restoration.

Abstract: A periodontal structure regeneration composition for treatment of periodontal disease is a mixture of particles of a bone growth material and free collagen. The periodontal regeneration composition is injected into the periodontal pocket through a needle. The composition may contain a thickener that increases the viscosity of the composition after the material has been injected into the periodontal pocket. The composition is available in pre-filled syringes offered in a kit that may also contain strips of surgical sponge or gauze that are sized to fit within a periodontal pocket, a tube of adhesive, a dental bur, a probe, a gauze placement tool, gauze counter and a brush for cleaning the dental bur.

Abstract: An LED socket is detachably mounted on a circuit board in an LED illuminating device. The LED socket has a connector with a lead connecting assembly for connecting an LED and multiple locking protrusions having locking grooves to hold the LED socket in an opening in the circuit board. When an LED breaks or fails, a user can easily detach the LED from the LED illuminating device and conveniently replace it with a new one. As a result, the LED socket in accordance with present invention not only economizes the use of LED, but also makes maintenance and use of the LED illuminating devices easy.

  • Patent number: 7322829
Abstract: An LGA electrical connector (10) includes an insulative body (20) of a substantially rectangular shape with a number of receiving holes (26), and a number of terminals (30) received in the respective receiving holes of the insulative body. Each of the terminals has a mounting portion (36) adapted for being soldered to a printed circuit board. The receiving hole includes a through hole (260) and a guiding hole (264) in lateral communication with the through hole. The guiding hole is provided on a surface of the insulative body, from which the associated terminal is inserted. This configuration of the terminal receiving holes, including the guiding hole, has the advantage of facilitating beam inspection of the terminal through a beam emitter (40).

Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a base mounted on a PCB, a cover for holding a CPU, and a plurality of contacts each of which has a supporting portion received in the base and an engaging portion reaching out of the base. The cover is formed with a number of through holes for fixing the contact. Every engaging portion crosses and partially extends out of the corresponding through hole. In process of assembly, each contact is pressed and generates elastic deformation, which causes its engaging portion to move. The CPU and the cover can move with the engaging portion simultaneously.
