Abstract: An exemplary swivel hinge assembly (100) includes a main body (12), a pivot mechanism (16) and a swivel mechanism (15). The swivel mechanism includes a rotatable member (182), a fixing member (184), two bearing balls (185), an elastic piece (186), and a second pivot shaft (189). The rotatable member defines two first bearing grooves (1820). The fixing member defines two second bearing grooves corresponding to the first grooves. The bearing balls are disposed between the rotatable member and the fixing member, and are partly received in the second bearing grooves. The elastic piece is mounted on the main body, elastically resisting the fixing member. The second pivot shaft extends through the main body, the elastic piece, the fixing member, and the rotatable member, and is rotatable relative to the elastic piece, the main body, and the fixing member.

Abstract: A swivel locking device for stroller wheel, comprising: a seat, a wheel bearing assembly, a locking pin, a biasing member, and an operating member. The seat and the wheel bearing assembly are coupled so as to rotate with respect to each other. The locking pin may move between a first position where the seat is coupled to suppress rotation between the seat and the wheel bearing assembly and a second position where the seat is decoupled to allow the rotation between the seat and the wheel bearing assembly. Normally, the biasing member biases the locking pin to the first position. The operating member moves between a locked position and a unlocked position. Movement of the operating member toward the locked position causes the locking pin to move toward the first position. The movement of operating member toward the unlocked position causes the locking pin to move toward the second position.

Abstract: A protractor for teaching aid includes a semicircular disk being provided along a curved section with angle marks and along a straight edge with length marks to form a main body of the protractor, and at a center with a locating hole or a locating bar; and at least one indicating strip being provided at two ends at one side with a short bar each, with a receiving hole correspondingly formed behind each short bar, and on one surface along a centerline with a central marker. The indicating strips may be rotatably connected at the short bars or the receiving holes to the locating hole or the locating bar, respectively, or rotatably connected end to end to form a polygon, so that the protractor has not only the function of measuring an angle, but also many other teaching functions.

Abstract: A graphing template includes a substantially square shaped, rigid piece of planar material. The planar material includes two elongated openings extending through the planar material and intersecting to form an origin and define four quadrants. The elongated openings are sufficiently large to accommodate a tip of a writing instrument such that a two dimensional graph may be generated by depositing the template onto a writing surface and thereafter inserting the tip of the writing instrument into the elongated openings and marking upon the writing surface to form an “x” axis and a “y” axis. The planar material includes an array of circularly-shaped holes located equidistance from one another in each quadrant and extending through the planar material. These circularly-shaped holes are arranged in equidistance rows and columns and are positioned in groups in the four quadrants.

Abstract: Disclosed is an alignment tool. A body of the alignment tool fits into a turret block, while a head holds a machine-tool. During the alignment process, the head and body are allowed to move relative to one another in two dimensions perpendicular to an axis of rotation of a spindle. To align the alignment tool, a workpiece is inserted into the spindle. As the workpiece spins, a machine-tool cuts a taper in it. An “empty” alignment tool is brought to bear against the tapered workpiece. The axis of the head of the empty alignment tool, and thus the axis of any machine-tool held by the head, is aligned with the axis of the tapered workpiece and, thus, with the axis of the spindle. Once the machine-tool is aligned with the spindle, the head and body are tightly fastened together to preserve the alignment.

Abstract: An article of footwear is disclosed. The article of footwear includes a multi-layered upper. A bootie configured to fit snugly about the foot of the wearer forms the interior of the upper. An outer covering substantially encases the bootie and is attached to the bootie only along a lateral side of the upper. The outer covering includes a split forming an opening on the lateral side of the upper, with the split in the outer covering extending into the small toe region of the upper. The opening is adjustable to tighten the shoe around the foot of the wearer, so a lacing system is provided coincident with the opening.
