The device may include one or more gravity sensors and one or more magnetic sensors that are used to determine the direction in which the device is aimed. Once the aiming direction is determined, a device control system may be used to access an object database and determine a likely candidate object on or near the aiming direction. The device may include capability to output audiovisual information related to the object. The device may be configured to provide audiovisual commands that direct the user to point the device toward a desired or target location, thereby allowing the user to locate objects with unknown positions. The device may be used as a control system for telescopes and other optical devices.

The laser indicator includes a transmission member, cells, and a switch lid behind the cells. A push button is provided on the switch lid. The cells and the transmission member are conducted to emit laser beam when the push button is pressed to align at a cutting line on a plate work piece to guide the cutting.

A strain gauge (33) is mounted to the stem of the “T” to detect the bending caused when the stylus contacts a workpiece. This enables the strain sensitive structure to be both robust and sensitive to the bending.

The first contact portion is used for contacting the mounting portion of the second object. The contact poles are fixed at a special position on the workbench according to the desired angle range, for contacting the second contact portion when the mounting angle is not in the desired angle range. The controller is electrically connected to the fixing pole and the contact poles configured to send a signal based on connecting status between the second contact portion of the triggering member and the contact poles.

At least two sensors (28, 29) are mounted on linear slides on at least one measuring arm (1). The complete shape-measuring assembly includes at least three sensors (27, 28, 29) or measuring points to allow the calculation of the cross-sectional shape of the roll and the extraneous error movement of the roll. At least one measuring arm is connected to a linear guide (4) of the frame (3). The linear motor is connected between the frame and the measuring arms. The linked transport mechanism assures the synchronous accurate positioning of the sensors, each at a fixed angle through the roll center, over the entire range of roll diameters that the grinding machine may receive.

Abstract: An assembly which is a composite including an end shield and a front wall. The size and shape of the end shield are adapted to the inner face of the front wall. Both parts are dimensioned and formed in such a way that they can be interconnected in a fixed manner to form a stable composite resembling a sandwich assembly. The joint surfaces between the front wall and the end shield lie on perpendicular planes and extend for some distance. The construction and connection of the individual parts and of the composite give the front region of the tumble dryer a high degree of rigidity, which obviates the need for additional reinforcement measures. The assembly thus saves material and mounting costs and resources.

The invention is characterized by that the vent-slots on the sole piece gather together near the center of toes transverse line on the sole piece, and a convex air-gathering pipeline is disposed between the gather point and the air intake check valve. The purpose of the invention is to design a ventilated shoe, which can increase ventilating quantity and keep good ventilation effect. Compared with the prior art, the advantages of the present invention are large ventilating quantity, longer using life, and no air leaking when using.

Abstract: A multi-layered protector is adapted to attach to and cover the entire sole of a shoe to protect the sole from being marred or otherwise damaged when the shoe is worn by a user. The protector includes a ground engaging layer, a wear indicating layer and an adhesive layer. The wear indicating layer is rigid in character and provides immediate feedback to a user of its exposure. A removable peel layer adjacent the adhesive layer may be removed in order to attach the sole protector to the sole of the shoe. Preferably, the ground engaging layer includes an upwardly extending, peripheral rim portion adapted to protect the outer edge portions of the sole. A deformable conforming layer is optionally provided between the wear indicating layer and the adhesive layer. The protector may be adapted for customization or may be produced specifically for use with a particular shoe.

Abstract: A U-shaped handle is physically attached to the back of a deflector atop a snow directing chute on a snowthrower. The deflector pivots atop the chute to adjust the trajectory of a stream of snow being thrown by the snowthrower. The handle is gripped and moved up and down to effect a pivotal adjustment of the deflector. A pivotal latch is carried on the handle which latch protrudes into the open interior hand grip space of the handle. The latch is spring biased so that a detent on the latch engages with a toothed rack with the interengagement between the detent and the rack holding the deflector in an adjusted position. When the operator grips the handle and squeezes the fingers of the gripping hand closed, the latch is pivoted to remove the detent from the rack and thereby permit pivotal adjustment of the deflector.

The present disclosure relates more specifically to a chain for a boomed trenching excavator, the chain including a plurality of links hingedly connected to each other. Each link also includes a pair of side extensions for engaging a drive sprocket of the boom. One or more teeth may be mounted to the outer surface. The present disclosure also relates to a blank from which the links for an excavator chain may be made and to a link which may be used with other links to form an excavator chain.

The release mechanism has a compression spring positioned between the piston assembly and the bottom of the first cylindrical cutout and the compression spring. Telescoping legs allow adjustment of leg length for use on uneven terrain. The shotgun is modified by the addition of components creating an electric circuit in the shotgun. The modified ammunition rounds contain a modified slug round formed by a plurality of shot pellets held together by an epoxy which disbonds upon the application of an electric current. The operator of the shotgun may choose which type of round to fire by operating a selector switch component installed in the shotgun. The shotgun may include a modification to its trigger in which the trigger acts as the switching mechanism to disbond the epoxy binding the shot pellets in the modified slug round.
