Abstract: An apparatus and method for sequentially stenciling an image on each of a plurality of pallets uses a conveyor for transporting a first pallet along a frame to a stop location at a stenciling station. Once the first pallet is duly held at the stop location, at least one stencil image is indexed adjacent to a side-face of the pallet and sprayed through for marking the image at substantially the same region on each pallet. After the first pallet is stenciled, it exits the stenciling station, and a second pallet is transported therein and the stenciling repeated. Further, after spraying through the same stencil image for one or more stenciling passes, a clean stencil pattern is rotated in place while the prior used pattern is cleaned for reuse. The apparatus and method can also include a painting station for painting the lateral, front and rear side-faces of the pallet with an undercoat before stenciling.

The arms are adapted to engage the bottom of a turned up edge of the pants leg thereby preventing the clip from sliding down the cuff.

Abstract: Current methods for station keeping an object in the ocean or body of water involve mooring assemblies or active and complex navigation and differential thrust or thrust and rudder assemblies. The embodiments herein provide a method and device for compensating for the force of water or ocean currents through the use of a hydrofoil assembly to orient a device in the water current direction, through the use of any number of devices for sensing water current force, and through the use of a motor assembly to produce sufficient thrust to compensate for water current drift. An alternate embodiment allows the method to be employed without sensing the force of the water current. The method does not require directional thrust or active rudder assemblies, is highly portable, utilizes minimal power, is light weight, is scalable, and can be operated in any body of water.

Abstract: A plasma treatment apparatus has a reaction vessel (11) provided with a top electrode (13) and a bottom electrode (14), and the first electrode is supplied with a VHF band high frequency power from a VHF band high frequency power source (32), while the bottom electrode on which a substrate (12) is loaded and is moved by a vertical movement mechanism. The plasma treatment system has a controller (36) which, at the time of a cleaning process after forming a film on the substrate (12), controls a vertical movement mechanism to move the bottom electrode to narrow the gap between the top electrode and bottom electrode and form a narrow space and starts cleaning by a predetermined high density plasma in that narrow space. In the cleaning process, step cleaning is performed. Due to this, the efficiency of utilization of the cleaning gas is increased, the amount of exhaust gas is cut, and the cleaning speed is raised. Further, the amount of the process gas used is cut and the process cost is reduced.
