Abstract: A portable, vacuum-powered collection device is useful in yard maintenance and other similar applications where debris, some of which may be bulky, is being collected. The collection device makes use of a receptacle adapted to be worn on a user's back during operation. The receptacle has an opening for emptying its contents. A vacuum unit is operatively associated with the receptacle so that it can move leaves through an intake passage and collect them in the receptacle. In one implementation, the receptacle includes a lid secured to cover a corresponding opening in the bottom portion of the receptacle. When the lid is opened, the contents of the receptacle can be emptied. In certain other implementations, a mechanism is included in the collection device which is configured or adapted so that the user can selectively open the lid to empty the contents of the receptacle while still wearing the receptacle on the back.

The new idler shaft and idler gear being configured such that the new idler shaft, idler gear, and sleeve rotate together. The method may then include placing at least one bushing liner within the opening of at least one bearing block and attaching a retaining device to at least one end of the new idler shaft to retain the new idler shaft axially.

Abstract: The invention is a method of repairing an aperture and adjacent defect in a part which is started by removing one or more defects adjacent an aperture in a base material. The material is removed to create a weld seam that extends past an area of high stress concentration on the aperture. An insert of material containing a profile that corresponds to the profile of the base material removed adjacent the aperture and a combination top and runoff plate that encompasses the insert of material are provided. The insert of material is tack welded to the combination plate to assure a gap of less than about 0.003 inches between the combination plate and the insert. A backing plate is inserted underneath the combination top and runoff plate and insert such that there remains an air space between the backing plate and the combination plate which prevents the combination plate from becoming fused to the backing plate during a welding process. The insert is welded to the base material, and the backing plate is removed.

Abstract: An integrated wash unit includes a framework. In one example, the framework includes a skid supporting an internal frame. A wash unit that includes a pump is supported on the framework for pumping a fluid, such as water. A water treatment assembly is supported on the framework and is fluidly connected to the pump. A water storage tank and water heater are arranged between the water treatment assembly and pump. The water treatment assembly supplies clean water that was been recycled from the collected, unclean water from the turbine engine. The water treatment assembly is fixed relative to the wash unit for transport together with the wash unit as an integrated assembly. An enclosure that includes access panels is supported on the framework about the wash unit and water treatment assembly. The framework supports a power plant that drives the pump through a generator and motor or through a transmission device, as well as a generator and an air compressor.

Abstract: An anchor insertion rod is disclosed for use with an anchor insertion tool removable secured therein for the installation and setting of anchors. The anchor insertion rod comprises an outer member and an inner member slidably mounted within the outer member, whereby the inner member can be extended to increase the length of the insertion rod. Upper and lower stop members are positioned on the insertion rod, along with a slide hammer surrounding a portion of the insertion rod that moves along the insertion rod between the upper and lower stop members. To install an anchor, the insertion rod is raised to align an anchor within the anchor insertion tool with a pre-drilled hole in the surface in which the anchor is to be mounted. The slide hammer is moved to forcibly contact the upper stop member to impart an impacting force to insert the anchor. The anchor is set by moving the slide hammer to contact the lower stop member and impart a setting force to the lower stop member.
