Abstract: A casement window hinge eliminates the use of rivets in the pivot between the sash arm and guide arm such as require a high force deformation of an element to a precise compression that varies according to a “tolerance stack up” between four controlled dimensions of the parts being assembled: the length of the rivet, the deformation of the rivet head, and the thickness of the two arms being assembled. The invention eliminates two of these dimensions through the use of integrally molded pivot pins that fit into a bore in the second arm and which are plastically flanged. Resistance to a pull-out of wood screws that are countersunk into a plastic sash arm is provided by exaggerated counter sinking with undersized countersink bores.

Abstract: A slide hinge has a stationary bracket, a slide, a pivot pin and a rotatable bracket. The stationary bracket is hollow and has a chamber and a rail slot. The slide is mounted slidably in the chamber of the stationary bracket. The pivot pin is mounted securely on the slide and extends perpendicularly from the stationary bracket. The rotatable bracket is mounted rotatably on the pivot pin. The slide hinge has merely four components so that fabricating the slide hinge is easy and fast. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the slide hinge is low.

Abstract: An object is to provide a potable blower grip which can sufficiently reduce vibration and can lessen the worker's fatigue fully. A soft material grip 2, attached to a handle 1 of a portable blower 100 and held by a worker P has a corrugation 2X and the corrugation 2X is arranged so as to face in the vertical direction V, when the portable blower 100 is tilted forward to take a working posture, and thus the weight of the portable blower 100 is applied to one hand at the time of working via the corrugation 2X which faces in the vertical direction V. Accordingly, the crushing of the corrugation 2X is prevented and also the contact area between the grip 2 and the hand is minimized by the corrugation 2X to sufficiently reduce the vibration transferred to the hand.

Abstract: This invention provides a multilayer printed wiring board in which electric connectivity and functionality are obtained by improving reliability and particularly, reliability to the drop test can be improved. No corrosion resistant layer is formed on a solder pad 60B on which a component is to be mounted so as to obtain flexibility. Thus, if an impact is received from outside when a related product is dropped, the impact can be buffered so as to protect any mounted component from being removed. On the other hand, land 60A in which the corrosion resistant layer is formed is unlikely to occur contact failure even if a carbon pillar constituting an operation key makes repeated contacts.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method for connecting a bus bar of a capacitor, improving temperature characteristics and reliability of the capacitor by reducing inductance and impedance such that heat generation is restrained during use of the capacitor, and a product fabricated by the same. A pair of bus bars are insulatedly connected to sprayed surfaces on both sides of a plurality of capacitor devices, in such a manner that lead frames arranged alternately on a first bus bar are connected in contact with the sprayed surfaces facing in a diagonal direction, of neighboring capacitor devices. Other lead frames arranged alternately on a second bus bar are connected to the sprayed surfaces facing in another diagonal direction across the above diagonal direction in an X-shape. Then, the pair of bus bars are assembled to be insulated from each other and overlapped at one side of the capacitor device.

Abstract: A shaver has a shaving unit which comprises three shaving elements (6), wherein each shaving element (6) accommodates a cutter member (9) for cutting off hairs. Each shaving element (6) further accommodates a gear wheel (16) which is part of transmission means for coupling a drive shaft (17) for driving the cutter member (9) to an output shaft of a motor of the shaver. A top side of a space (23) where the gear wheel (16) is located is covered by a partition (22), wherein only the drive shaft (17) is extending through this partition (22). Each shaving element (6) can easily be opened by removing a top portion (27) of the shaving element (6), which comprises the cutter member (9) from a base portion (26) of the shaving element (6) where the gear wheel (16), the drive shaft (17) and the partition (22) are located. An opening system (102, 104, 112, 200) may be provided to open all the shaving elements (6) in one action by reversal of the direction of rotation of the output shaft (15, 15a).
