  • Patent number: 7650768
Abstract: A bottle security device includes a housing with an electronic surveillance article tag therein and a ratchet strap which extends from the housing and loops around the bottle neck to secure the device thereto. The strap has one-way locking teeth which are lockably engaged by a locking mechanism in the housing when the strap is inserted therein to secure the strap in a locked position. The housing has first and second opposed outer surfaces which taper radially outwardly and toward one another in a manner which makes the housing difficult to grasp manually or otherwise, thus helping prevent the breakage and removal of the device from the bottle. The tapered outer surfaces also serve to deflect impact forces to the housing to help prevent unauthorized removal of the device. An arcuate channel of the housing receives and aligns the strap for improved locking capability.

  • Patent number: 7650770
Abstract: A tool is used to split the coils of a key ring so that the key ring can be easily and efficiently placed on a key or other object. In one embodiment the invention includes a pair of guides, such as ribs or slots, incorporated into the bridge of the key ring grip. One rib or slot assists in getting the key ring onto the key and the other rib or slot assists in removing the key ring from the key. Alternatively, the tool could be separate from the key ring bridge and take the form of a plate having a pair of cut-out sections on opposite sides thereof. One cut-out has a sharp leading edge on the top of the plate and the other has a sharp leading edge on the bottom of the plate. A semicircular handle is attached to one side of the plate and assists it further by widening the gap between the coils so that a key can be threaded onto the free end of the key ring.

  • Patent number: 7650776
Abstract: A substrate processing apparatus of the present invention dilutes a sample gas by mixing the sample gas with nitrogen gas and measures the concentration of IPA gas contained in the diluted sample gas in a concentration measuring part. Then, the substrate processing apparatus calculates the concentration (C0) of IPA gas contained in the sample gas before being diluted by multiplying the measured concentration value (C1) by the reciprocal (1/P) of a dilution rate which is obtained on the basis of the amount of flow of the sample gas and that of the diluent gas, as C0=C1×(1/P). Therefore, even if IPA gas of high concentration is used, it is possible to accurately measure the concentration of the IPA gas.

  • Patent number: 7650784
Abstract: A flow rate sensor has a problem that a resistance value of a heat generating resistor itself varies and sensor characteristics are changed during use of the sensor for a long term. Also, the temperature of the heat generating resistor must be adjusted on a circuit substrate with a resistance constituting one side of a fixed temperature difference control circuit, and this has been one of factors pushing up the production cost. All resistances used for fixed temperature difference control are formed on the same substrate as temperature sensitive resistors of the same material. This enables all the resistances for the fixed temperature difference control to be exposed to the same environmental conditions. Hence, even when the resistances change over time, the changes over time occur substantially at the same tendency. Since the resistances for the fixed temperature difference control change over time essentially at the same rate, a resulting output error is very small.

Abstract: The invention relates to a turbine flowmeter for measuring the consumption of fluids, particularly water. The turbine flowmeter comprises a housing (1) with an inflow (2), and outflow (3) and a flow channel (4). The turbine flowmeter also comprises a measuring unit (5) for measuring and indicating the consumption. A turbine (10) with a hub (11) and a number of radial vanes (12.1, 12.2) is located inside the channel (4). A holding insert (20) is also located inside the channel (4) and is comprised of a water guide cross (20.1) and of an insert base body (20.2). The water guide cross (20.1) comprises a hub (21), radial struts (22) extending from the hub (21) to the wall of the channel (4), a nozzle body (23), which surrounds the front (14) of the turbine (10), however, a gap (17) remains through which the fluid flows, and comprises a central opening (24) in the nozzle body (23). The vanes (12.1. 12.2) of the turbine (10) are positioned near the nozzle body (23). A nozzle ring (16) connects the vanes (12.1, 12.

Abstract: A shift lever has a detent rod which is movable along a longitudinal direction of a lever main body. A knob, which is graspably mounted to a distal end portion of the shift lever, has an attachment hole, and a holder is attached in the attachment hole. The holder has a button which is reciprocatingly movable into and out of the attachment hole, and a link which is interlocked with movement of the button. When the button is moved inwardly, the link abuts the detent rod, and moves the detent rod along the longitudinal direction of the lever main body. When the link moves reciprocatingly at the inner side of the knob, the link abuts the inner side of the knob. Elastic members which elastically deform are provided at the link and at a region of the inner side of the knob which region is abutted by the link.
