Abstract: A distinct Malbec grape variety from Mendoza Argentina, herewith denominated ‘Catena Malbec Clone 17’ which shows a unique vineyard and winemaking profile from the rest of the Malbec grapevine population in Mendoza, Argentina. This Malbec grape variety is characterized by its very low cluster size and weight; loose cluster form; medium berry size and weight; medium to high vigor; medium to high level of millendrage (shot berries); very high level of polyphenols; a low level of tannins, and high color intensity.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Floribunda rose plant is provided which abundantly forms on a nearly continuous basis attractive semi-double self-cleaning orange blossoms having petals that are yellow at the point of attachment. The plant exhibits a vigorous, compact, and substantially rounded growth habit. The attractive dark green glossy foliage contrasts nicely with the orange and yellow blossom coloration. Above average disease resistance is displayed particularly with respect to mildew (both powdery mildew and downy mildew) and rust. Also, a very short time between bloom cycles commonly is required. The new variety is particularly well suited for growing as attractive ornamentation in parks and gardens.

Abstract: A new and distinct Raspberry plant named ‘Autumn Treasure’ is provided that is the product of a controlled breeding program. The new primocane fruiting Raspberry cultivar produces attractive conical-shaped medium red fruit that detaches readily from the receptacle. It crops approximately ten days later than the cultivar ‘Autumn Bliss’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,597) in Southern England. The new cultivar has very good plant habit with spineless, erect canes where the fruit is well presented to the pickers. Due to its excellent pest and disease resistance ‘Autumn Treasure’ is very well suited to low-input systems as well as conventional production.

The variety results from selection among a population of seedlings derived from controlled pollination crossing of the raspberry varieties known as ‘Chilcotin’ (not patented) and ‘Waimea’ (not patented). The fruit of this new variety has an attractive appearance characterized by uniformly large berry size, good fruit firmness, and medium-red fruit color. The new variety is distinguished from others by its high yields of firm, attractive, uniformly sized, large, red berries that ripen in the mid season. The plant exhibits a semi spine-free upright growth habit, of strong vigor. In addition, the plant has displayed resistance to Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus (RBDV) under New Zealand conditions. Fruit of the new variety appears suitable for the fresh fruit market. The variety has been named ‘Korpiko’.

Abstract: A new and distinct floricane fruiting red raspberry, Rubus idaeus L., variety is described. The variety results from selection among a population of seedlings derived from controlled pollination crossing of the raspberry variety known as ‘Moutere’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 17,744) and the unreleased raspberry selection with the breeder code D188 (not patented). This new variety is characterized by excellent fruit quality, very good shelf life, and an early harvest season, and is suitable for both machine and hand harvest. The new variety appears suitable for the fresh fruit market and has been named ‘Korere’.

The plant exhibits a semi spine-free upright growth habit, of strong vigor. The new variety appears suitable for the fresh fruit market and has been named ‘Adele’.

In accordance with the invention, the compression dictionary is pre-filled, prior to the beginning of the data compression, with letter sequences, words and/or phrases frequent in the domain from which the data being compressed is drawn. The letter sequences, words, and/or phrases used in the pre-filled compression dictionary may be determined by statistically sampling text data from the same genre of text.

Abstract: Garments that utilize complex panel shapes to minimize the to number of panels used, the number of seams, and total seam length. Increasing the complexity of panel shapes tends to make the cutting of panels more difficult and often results in more wastage of material, but the reduction of the number of panels and reduction in the number of seams and total seam length will actually simplify garment production and result in improved garments. Simplifying garment production will in turn generally result in an increase in the rate of production. Reducing seam length and the number of seams also reduces the chances of seams wearing out or splitting.

The woven fabric layers are made from yarns having a tenacity of at least 7.3 grams per dtex and a modulus of at least 100 grams per dtex. The sheet layers comprise nonwoven random oriented fibrous sheets, each of the sheet layers comprising a uniform mixture of 3 to 60 weight percent polymeric binder and 40 to 97 weight percent non-fibrillated fibers. The woven fabric layers and the sheet layers are stacked together comprising a first core section which includes at least two repeating units of, in order, at least one of the woven fabric layers then at least one of the sheet layers. The sheet layers comprise 0.5 to 30 wt % of the total weight of the article.

Each of a plurality of torso straps is coupled between the breast plate and the back plate to press the breast plate and the back plate against the torso to secure the back plate and the breast plate to the torso. A hydration assembly is coupled to the back plate. The hydration assembly contains a consumable liquid to be drunk by the person to keep the person hydrated.
