Abstract: Upper and lower support members (25, 26), supporting a valve (13), are lowered toward a valve guide (12) with at least the lower support member (25) vibrated by a vibrating device (19). When a lower-end chamfered surface (13g) of the valve has failed to be brought into contact with the opening edge (12c) of the guide through the lowering, not only the upper support member is caused to gradually move away from an umbrella section (13b) of the valve but also the position of supporting, by the lower support member, of a shaft section (13a) of the valve is displaced downward after the lower end of the shaft section of the valve contacts the upper end surface (12b) of the guide, so that vibrating movement of the lower end of the shaft section is reduced to allow the chamfered surface to contact the opening edge. Then, the valve is inserted into the guide by a pressing member (32).

Abstract: A punching method providing extension effect aims to form an oil seal sleeve. Through a mold with a gap formed therein a punching material can be compressed and extended during forming. By reducing the moving speed of the mold the forming speed also is slower. As a result, the roundness improves and surface roughness is reduced after the oil seal sleeve is formed. Thus there is no need to do follow-on lathing and polishing, and the formed oil seal sleeve can meet users' requirements. The invention can increase production speed and reduce production cost and material loss.

Abstract: A process for assembling a rigid-flex printed circuit board (PCB) is presented. During operation, the process receives rigid-flex PCBs that are to be coupled together, wherein a rigid-flex PCB includes flexible PCBs coupled to rigid PCBs. The process then places the PCBs onto a carrier which is configured to: align the PCBs so that bond regions located on the flexible PCBs overlap with bond regions located on corresponding flexible PCBs, and apply pressure to the overlapped bond regions. The process then sends the carrier through a reflow oven which reflows solder on the PCBs so that the components become mechanically and electrically coupled to the PCBs. The temperature profile generated by the reflow oven and the pressure applied by the carrier cures and sets an anisotropic conductive film located in the bond regions so that the overlapped flexible PCBs become mechanically and electrically coupled together.

Abstract: A circuit board and a circuit apparatus using the same which can prevent displacement and film exfoliation ascribable to thermal expansion, and suppress a drop in reliability at increasing temperatures. The circuit board of the circuit apparatus includes a metal substrate having pierced holes as a core member. Protrusions are formed on the top ends of the pierced holes, and depressions are formed in the bottom ends of the pierced holes. Wiring pattern layers are formed on both sides of this metal substrate via respective insulating layers. In order to establish electrical connection between the wiring pattern layers, a conductor layer which connects the wiring pattern layers is formed through the metal substrate via the pierced holes. The conductor layer thereby establishes electrical conduction between the wiring pattern layers. Furthermore, a semiconductor chip is directly connected to the surface side of the circuit board via solder balls.

Abstract: A method of measuring a three-dimensional shape of a connection assembly of a stator coil in a turbine generator, includes first measuring a three-dimensional shape of a measurement area of the connection assembly of the stator coil in a measurement range set in advance by a laser non-contact three-dimensional shape measurement device, second measuring a three-dimensional shape of a measurement area of the connection assembly of the stator coil in a measurement range set in advance by a multi-joint contact three-dimensional shape measurement device, the multi-joint contact three-dimensional shape measurement device including a plurality of arms being coupled via a joint including a built-in encoder, and integrally synthesizing the three-dimensional shape data measured in the first measurement, the three-dimensional shape data measured in the second measurement, and shape measurement data of a local area measured manually, thereby drafting a plan of the stator connection assembly.

Abstract: The present instant reading oil dipstick automatically extracts a representative column of oil from the crankcase oil reservoir. Such is done inside of a translucent fluoroplastic tube. A machined brass slide valve, with sealing O-rings, fits inside of the metal dipstick tubing leading into the engine crankcase. When the dipstick is withdrawn for checking oil level, the slide valve automatically closes over an air vent in the plastic tubing, thus preventing the oil that is inside the bottom of the tubing from running out. The oil level can be ascertained, easily—even in low light levels—without have to wipe off the oil from the outside of the dipstick, and without having to reinsert the dipstick one or more times.

Abstract: A clothes drying machine comprises a drum (1), a first fan (5) blowing a first flow of drying air through a drying-air conduit, a condenser (3) through which said flow of drying air passes, a cooling-air conduit conveying a second flow of fresh air through said condenser, said second flow being circulated by a second fan (6), and a motor adapted to drive said fans. There is provided an additional condensation element (11) run in parallel of said conduit of drying air, and a respective second air conduit connecting said additional condensation element to said drying air conduit; said additional condensation element is cooled by air at room temperature inside the dryer machine and/or by a wall of it, and the water there condensed is being passed to a common condense recovery reservoir (10).

Abstract: A secondary lint trap couplable between a laundry dryer and a building-embedded vent duct. The trap has an elongate housing. Aligned inlet and outlet apertures are formed in bottom and top sides of the housing's rearward ends. A tray is removably insertable within the housing. A screened aperture in the tray is aligned between the inlet and outlet apertures when the tray is inserted within the housing. The housing is mountable above the dryer such that the inlet and outlet apertures extend rearwardly of the dryer. This facilitates coupling of the dryer's exhaust outlet to the inlet aperture through one 90° elbow via a first short, substantially straight, elbowless conduit; and facilitates coupling of the vent duct to the outlet aperture through one other 90° elbow collar via a second short, substantially straight, elbowless conduit.

Abstract: This invention discloses systems, apparatuses and methods for drying or dehydrating high moisture content feedstock to dry or low moisture products. The equipment systems comprise a gas turbine generator unit (preferred heat source), a dryer vessel and a processing unit, wherein the connection between the gas turbine and the dryer vessel directs substantially all the gas turbine exhaust into the dryer vessel and substantially precludes the introduction of air into the dryer vessel and wherein the processing unit forms the dried material from the dryer vessel into granules, pellets, flakes or other desired form for the final product. The systems, apparatuses and methods of this invention also provide for prevention of release of HAP, including VOC, emissions from manufacturing facilities in conjunction with or independent of the above treatment of high water content feedstock.
