  • Patent number: 7761967
Abstract: A method of assembling a metal shore post of a concrete forming assembly is disclosed. An outer telescoping tube is provided that has a main section with a first inside diameter and top portion with a section having a second inside diameter reduced relative to the first inside diameter of the outer tube. An inner telescoping tube is inserted for telescopic movement inside the outer tube. After assembly, a pair of pistons are inserted through access holes in the outer tube to provide a crushing force to the inner tube deforming it to create a region of increased diameter that is greater than that of the reduced diameter section but not so large as to prevent telescopic movement of the inner tube inside the outer tube. The increased dimension region thereby prevents accidental separation of the inner tube from the assembly, thereby improving safety and efficiency. Openings are provided in the inner tube in the region being crushed in order to control the region of deformation.

  • Patent number: 7762001
Abstract: A hair clipper includes three blade blocks each including comb-like blades mutually overlapped for making sliding contact with each other, each blade block having a skin contact surface parallel to a projecting direction of the comb-like blades; and a main body including a drive unit for reciprocating one of the comb-like blades. The blade blocks include first, second and third blade blocks. The second blade block has a skin surface contact angle between a longitudinal axis of the main body and the skin contact surface acute and greater than that of the first blade block. The third blade block has a skin surface contact angle same as that of the second blade block. The third blade block has a cutting width smaller than that of the first and second blade blocks. The main body includes an attachment unit for detachably attaching one of the blade blocks to the main body.

  • Patent number: 7762002
Abstract: A trimmer head for use in a flexible line rotary trimmer including a housing adapted to be operatively connected to the trimmer to effect rotation of the head and a spool operatively connected to the housing for rotation therewith. The spool defines at least one inwardly extending line receptor channel, preferably formed by a plurality of inwardly tapered walls so as to be polygonal in cross-section. So configured, the channel walls will securely grip the cutting line upon the line being inserted in the channel and wound about the spool. To provide uniform winding of the line, a plurality of cam, cam abutment and sliding surfaces are operatively connected to the housing and spool such that when the spool is manually rotated relative to the housing in the drive direction, the spool is caused to reciprocate axially within the housing evenly distributing the line about the body of the spool.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a guide for a power saw or router of the type having a blade and housing wider than the blade which directly overlies the blade during the cutting operation. The guide includes a saw guide having a straight outer edge configured for guiding a peripheral edge of the saw housing. Attached to the saw guide is an angle brace that is used to place the guide at four different angles. Attached by bolt to the saw guide is the work piece guide that is placed against the object you are cutting so that you cut a straight angle every time.
