Patent number: 7921478Abstract: A splash guard includes a shield that helps deflect and drain misdirected urine into a toilet bowl. When not needed, the shield can pivot 180 degrees from an operative, raised position down to tuck underneath the front end of the toilet bowl at a stored, lowered position. In the lowered position, the shield is generally inverted. To prevent residual urine on the inverted shield from dripping onto the floor, the shield includes a drip lip that temporarily collects the residual urine. When returned to the upright, raised position, urine in the drip lip is free to drain back into the toilet. The shield is pivotally connected to the toilet bowl at a point below the upper rim of the bowl so that when the shield pivots to the lowered position, the shield is completely out of the way.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2008Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Inventor: Annmarie Vanini

Patent number: 7921519Abstract: In an apparatus for the fiber-sorting or fiber-selection of a fiber bundle comprising textile fibers, especially for combing, which is supplied by a supply device to a fiber-sorting device, especially a combing device, having clamping devices which clamp the fiber bundle at a distance from its free end, which is combed to remove non-clamped constituents, the clamping devices each comprise two clamping jaws. To increase productivity and to enable an improved combed sliver to be obtained, downstream of the supply device there are arranged at least two rotatably mounted rollers rotating rapidly without interruption, the clamping devices being spaced apart in the region of the periphery of the rollers, and the clamping jaws of the each clamping device are arranged to be movable in relation to one another and separately drivable.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2008Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: Trützschler GmbH & Co. Patent number: 7921520Abstract: In an apparatus for the fiber-sorting or fiber-selection of a fiber bundle comprising textile fibers, especially for combing, clamping devices are provided which clamp the fiber bundle at a distance from its free end, and a mechanical arrangement is present which generates a combing action from the clamping site to the free end, in order to loosen and remove non-clamped constituents. To enable productivity to be substantially increased in a simple manner and an improved combed sliver to be obtained, downstream of the supply device there are arranged at least two rotatably mounted rollers, clamping devices being distributed spaced apart in the region of at least one said roller's periphery, and the arrangement for generating a combing action is inside the roller.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2008Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: Trützschler GmbH & Co. Patent number: 7921521Abstract: A deflection device for an anti skid chain includes a chain wheel rotatably stored in a housing for the accommodation of a chain which can be inserted into the chain wheel, and an actuating element that can be moved between a locking position, in which the movement of the chain wheel is blocked in one direction, and an unlocking position in which said blocking is released, and which engages, via a locking pawl actuated by said actuating element, a toothed ring non-rotatably connected to the chain wheel, which is in the form of an internally-toothed ring of the chain wheel. The locking pawl is pivotally mounted within the interior space surrounded by the toothed ring. The locking pawl engages the toothed ring in the locking position but disengages the same in the unlocking position of the actuating element.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2007Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: Pewag Schneeketten GmbH & Co. Patent number: 7921522Abstract: A draw cord adjuster includes a closure member having a first end and a second end. At least one locking member is anchored to one of the first end and the second end of the closure member. At least one anchoring member is positioned proximate the one of the first end and the second end of the closure member to which a corresponding locking member is anchored, with each anchoring member being movably secured to the corresponding locking member.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2006Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventor: Alex W. Patent number: 7921523Abstract: A buckle set, two of which pair off for being inset in frame of the swimming goggles on two sides so that a strap can be inserted in the buckle sets for fastening the swimming goggles on user's face. Structure of the present invention features a 2nd bump, which keeps the buckle in effective spacing even when the buckle is loaded with force and thus keeping the buckle well covered by the buckle hood.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2007Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: First Rank Co., Ltd.Inventor: Shu-Fang Chou

Patent number: 7921524Abstract: The present invention describes a release mechanism (1) for releasing magnetically releasable anti-theft devices consisting of a multiplicity of permanent magnets in the form of a Halbach array, which are disposed on a plane. While the highly magnetised top side (10) of the release mechanism (1) is covered by the cover plate (6) on the release side, a base plate (5) used for mounting or support is located on the underside (11) of the release mechanism (1). The permanent magnets encompass a continuous, self-contained frame magnet (2), which is magnetised in an axial direction and has a first recess. Inserted in this first recess is a segmented magnet (3), wherein the individual segments are magnetised perpendicularly to the magnetization direction of the frame magnet (2) and a second recess is left open, in which an axially magnetised magnetic core (4) is inserted.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2008Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Inventor: Albert Maurer

Patent number: 7921525Abstract: An object securing apparatus utilizing a hook and loop material attached to one of two faces of a binder clip and projecting downward there from. The hook and loop material can be single or double sided. A magnetic material can be disposed upon the hook and loop material. The hook and loop material can be cut forming a clearance for rotation of a cantilevered handle of the binder clip. The hook and loop material secures the binder clip to a first object and a binder clip gripping section is used to grip a second object.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2008Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Inventor: Richard Lucas

Patent number: 7921526Abstract: A zip fastener (30) comprised of a long strip of two thermoplastic support tapes (35); two rows of coupling elements (40), each row being attached to its own support tape (35); and a slider body (45) comprising a puller (50) attached to the slider body (45). Portions of the two support tapes (35) are shaped to cause the two rows of coupling elements (40) to rest higher or lower than the shaped portions of the support tapes (35). At least one end portion of the zip fastener (30) is curved downward and in a closed position the curved portion (75) accommodates at least one slider body (45).Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2005Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Inventor: Tanakorn Wangbunyen

Patent number: 7921527Abstract: A towel clip for securing a towel around the waist of a user, the towel clip typically including a body. The body has a longitudinal axis, and an inner and outer surface. The body has a first leg and a second leg and a bridge section. The bridge section is typically semicircular and the first leg and second extend outward therefrom. An embodiment of Applicant's towel clip includes a convex upper rail located on the inner surface of the first leg and a pair of convex lower rails spaced apart on the lower legs and extending upward from the inner surface of the lower leg. The bridge section is resilient and the legs will spread apart to exert pressure on a folded towel to secure the same.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2009Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Inventor: Carey Moy
