  • Patent number: 7922180
Abstract: A screwdriver bit holder structure, whose holder body has a polygon hole, and inside the polygon hole set an inner spring and a sliding tube. The holder body is clipped by a c-clamp, ahead of which are symmetric front balls and holes, and behind which are symmetric middle and back balls and holes. A fixing cap is capped on the holder body. In the back of inner hole of the fixing cap sets a limiting ring, and in the front sets a front recess and a back recess that is designed, by sliding the cap forward and backward along the holder body, to push front balls to fit into the fitting concaves of the bits so as to fix them tightly with the holder body or loose front balls from fitting concaves to release the bits.

  • Patent number: 7922184
Abstract: Steering mechanism for orienting the steered wheels (1a-d) of a short vehicle with respect to the chassis, comprising one first vertical axis (2) per steered wheel, allowing each steered wheel (1a-d) to pivot with respect to said chassis and a first link (5a-d) allowing a torque to be applied to each steered wheel to make it pivot around said first vertical axis. The inner end of the link is able to slide along a straight rail (11a-d) which in turn is rotatably mounted with respect to the chassis 60. A second link (6a-d) not parallel to the wheels forces the first link (5a-d) to slide in a defined manner along a rail (11a-d). This makes possible the differentiated orientation of the left and right wheels. Advantage: very small turning radius. Particularly applicable to electric chairs for the disabled.

  • Patent number: 7922187
Abstract: Gentle and substantially linear vertical motion of a wheelchair foot support is expected to provide superior results for maintenance of a wheelchair user's leg muscle mass' thus reducing atrophy of the wheelchair user's legs. Additionally, gentle continuous motion of the foot support is expected to aid in maintaining elasticity of the wheelchair user's leg joint ligaments' thus reducing contractures. Accordingly, an atrophy-reducing wheelchair includes a movable foot support mounted to a linkage that is movably connected to the wheelchair frame. As the wheelchair moves in normal operation, rotation of a wheelchair wheel drives the linkage to provide substantially linear vertical reciprocation of the foot support.

  • Patent number: 7922201
Abstract: The invention relates to a swivelable roll bar, in particular for construction vehicles, with two vertical carriers, each of which has a pair of spars, whereby in each, one spar is connected swivelably through a link joint with the another spar, and the link joint comprises a lock and a stop. The stop consists of a joint stiffener, which is built as an extension of one spar and partially grips about the end of the other. In addition to that, the lock has a continuously adjustable final control element, with which the joint stiffener can be braced against the other spar. With the grip about the other spar, the flexural strength of the link joint of the swivelable roll bar is increased. Further, the bracing of the joint stiffener against the other spar eliminates the play in the link joint. The joint stiffener is preferably built as a U-shaped tubular segment that is attached to the latter as an extension of the spar.

  • Patent number: 7922203
Abstract: Provided is a steering column system capable of firmly holding a jacket during a normal condition and securing a larger movement stroke for the jacket when an excessive impact force is applied. To this end, when a clamp bolt (72) is fastened, sliding contact portions (70a) are pressed to abutment parts (43), respectively. Thus, a jacket (3) is firmly clamped to and held by a mount bracket (6). When a force in excess of a predetermined value is applied to the jacket (3) in its axial direction, shear portions (74b) break, and thereby a restraint imposed on a movement range by restraint portions (74a) is lifted. This contracts the jacket (3).

Abstract: A connector structure securely connectable in a locked state and releasable by an easy operation, comprising a supplying connection part for supplying a fluid and receiving connection part for receiving the supply of fluid. The connector structure also comprises a securing mechanism having an operating member moving according to a connecting operation between the supplying connection part to the receiving connection part, holding the connected state of the supplying part to the receiving part in a securely locked state and releasing the locked state of the supplying part to the receiving part by movement of the operating member according to the next pressing-in operation of the supplying part and an energizing mechanism energizing the supplying part in the separating direction thereof from the receiving part. When in the locked state, the pressurized fluid can be supplied from the supplying connection part to the receiving connection part.

  • Patent number: 7922216
Abstract: A metal ring gasket provides a high-pressure temperature tolerant metal-to-metal seal between subcomponents of a threaded union. The metal ring gasket is received in an annular cavity formed between mating surfaces of the subcomponents of the threaded union. The metal ring gasket is capable of maintaining a fluid seal even at very high temperatures resulting from direct exposure to fire. At high fluid pressures the metal ring gasket is energized because hoop stress induced by the fluid pressure forces the metal ring gasket into tighter contact with the subcomponents of the threaded union.
